2014 Korfball: Sport for All
A National Korfball Seminar-Workshop for Sports Leaders of
Universities and Schools in the Philippines
May 15-17, 2014
Korfball is a European mixed sport introduced in the Philippines in 2006. UST is the only
academic institution that offers Korfball as a service physical education course in the Philippines.
As part of the sports development program of the institute, our University, in cooperation with
the International Korfball Federation, will host the 2014 National Korfball Seminar-Workshop
and IKF Level 1 Coaching certification for sports leaders of Universities and Schools in the
Philippines. This event will help promote Korfball as an alternative sports activity in private and
public academic institutions. It will also highlight the historical launching as the 61st member of
IKF and oath taking of the Philippine Korfball Federation (PKF) officers.
