on 25th & 26th September, 2014.

About IIM- Ahmedabad
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has evolved from
being India's premier management institute to a notable
international school of management in just four decades.
It all started with Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and a few spirited
industrialists realizing that agriculture, education, health,
transportation, population control, energy and public
administration were vital elements in a growing society, and that
it was necessary to efficiently manage these industries. The result
was the creation of the Indian Institute of Management,
Ahmedabad in 1961 as an autonomous body with the active
collaboration of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat
and the industrial sectors."

About Amul
Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF),
is India's largest food product marketing organization with
annual turnover (2012-13) US$ 2.54 billion. Its daily milk
procurement is approx 13 million lit per day from 16914 village
milk cooperative societies, 17 member unions covering 24
districts, and 3.18 million milk producer members.

Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA)
IRMA was established in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of
the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the
Government of India, Government of Gujarat, the erstwhile Indian
Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board
(NDDB). The rationale behind its installation had to do with
providing management education, training, research and
consultancy support to co-operatives and rural development
organisations
in
India.
The genesis of IRMA is owed to Dr. Kurien's work with dairy cooperatives, which revolutionized the dairy industry in the country. It
was founded with the belief that the key to effective rural
development lies in professional management. Professionalising
rural management involves synergising specific yet unmet needs of
the rural sector with the formal techniques and skills of
management professionals. Linking the two are the ‘rural managers'
graduating from IRMA after undergoing a two-year diploma (PRM)
programme in rural management.

The fees include participation, transportation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea/coffee. Cheque/draft is to be drawn in favour of ‘Bombay
Management Association’ and sent it to BMA secretariat along with the registration form. Payment can be made through Net banking also.

Refund Policy: The fee paid is non-refundable. However, participation by a substitute shall be allowed. Kindly rush your registrations. The
