New Church Directories
We plan to do our new directory in house before the end of the year. We will
not have a company come in that wants to sell packages of photographs.
Please provide us with a photo that you would like to use. If you do not have
one, we can arrange for you to have one taken here at the church by one of
our resident photographers. Please place them on the desk in Dale’s office.
Clearly mark on them the names of those pictured and they will be returned.

*Call to Worship (from Psalm 111:1-5, UMHymnal 832)
Praise the Lord.
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who have pleasure in them.
Full of honor and majesty are the works of the Lord
whose righteousness endures for ever,
who has caused his wonderful works to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and merciful.
The Lord provides food for the faithful
and is ever mindful of his covenant.

Prayer for a New Heart (UMH 392)
Thou who art over us,
Thou who art one of us,
Thou who art:
Give me a pure heart, that I may see thee;
a humble heart, that I may hear thee;
a heart of love, that I may serve thee;
a heart of faith, that I may abide in thee. Amen.

Prayer for Illumination (UMH 602)
Blessed Lord,
you have caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning.
Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn,
and inwardly digest them,
that we may embrace and ever hold fast
the blessed hope of everlasting life,
which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
One God, forever and ever. Amen.
