Onboarding Overview: VCE Vblock Certifications

Onboarding Overview:
VCE Vblock Certifications
Superna is authorized by VCE to
provide three types of
certifications for the Vblock
converged infrastructure. These
include: VCE Vblock™ Ready
Certification Service to certify an
application on Vblock; VCE
Validation Ready™ to simplify
compliance with industry
standards such as HIPAA, PCI,
FedRAMP and ITSG; and VCE
Vision Ready™ to certify vendor
solutions that leverages VCE
Vision.
Vblock Ready
To accelerate the migration to the Vblock
converged infrastructure, Superna offers
certification testing to assess an Independent
Software Vendor or Hardware Vendor
(ISV/HSV) solutions ability to meet VCE’s
criteria for entrance into the VCE
TM Technology Alliance Partner
Program. ISV/HSV’s can submit their product
for certification testing and logo program

usage as part of the Technology Alliance
Program
Vision Ready
VCE Vision software has multiple API features that
a third-party application can use. The application
does not need to utilize all APIs to become certified
and can utilize the APIs based on the product’s
functionality. The certification process has success
criteria associated with functional areas of the
system and certification test cases will be
developed based on the candidate application and
its use of specific APIs and functional areas.
Validation Ready
The VCE Validation Ready™ Program is designed
to simplify and reduce the cost of Proof of
Concepts and Compliance Validation. It’s all about
streamlining the time to validate the converged
infrastructure that runs mission critical work loads
and complies with standards best practices. The
program has been designed to address reference
architectures that require compliance with
Industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP,
ITSG and more.
