Sent your submission to: [email protected] The contest calls upon students to create a 3D printable model of a „product“ that falls into one of the following two categories: 3D model in STL format The model has to be 3D printable. Assume that the model will be printed no larger than 24 x 15 x 15 cm Technical Product: gadget, device, etc. Rendering of your product in png or jpeg format Design: art, decoration, etc. ppt file with a short description of your product PrintYourProduct is open to individuals as well as teams. You can submit up to three entries. Competition Timeline Selection Criteria Enter from October 20th until November 14th, 2014 at 11:59 your PrintYourProduct submission(s). PrintYourProduct Criteria upon which your entries will be judged by: 2014|10|06: information evening (MUL, Seminarraum D) Innovation, Creativity and Artistic Impression 3D Printability 2014|10|22: kick-off event (IZW, 4th floor) rules | 3D printing | timeline Feasibilitiy 2014|11|14: submission deadline Marketabilty 2014|11|17: announcement of finalists Product presentation Nov|Dec: 3D printing 2014|12|12: award ceremony (ZAT) jury presentation of 3D print and product idea Prizes The top five finalists will receive their 3D models. The top three finalists will receive the following prizes: 1st place: EUR 500 - Microprinter 2nd place: EUR 300 3rd place: EUR 200 The top five designs will be invited to 3D print their products on a 3D printer. (maxium printing size: 24x15x15cm) In the final round you have to present your 3D model and your product idea in front of an independent jury (German or English).
