1st Call for Papers - ISGN-6

First Call for Papers
6th International Symposium
on Growth of III-Nitrides
Scope of the Symposium
Call for papers
The 6th International Symposium on Growth of
III-Nitrides (ISGN-6) will be held on November 8-12,
2015 in Hamamatsu, Japan. This symposium follows
the 1st symposium held in Linköping, Sweden; the
2nd in Izu, Japan; the 3rd in Montpellier, France; the
4th in St. Petersburg, Russia, and the 5th in Atlanta,
USA.
This symposium is devoted to exposition of
recent progress and outlining future directions in the
field of bulk substrates and thin film growth of
III-Nitrides, as well as the growth and fabrication of
nanostructures. The aim of ISGN-6 is to cover the
development of all relevant growth techniques for the
III-nitrides.
This symposium will include both invited and
contributed papers. A certain number of contributed
papers will be upgraded to invited papers.
Contributed presentations will be selected by the
Program Committee on the basis of submitted
abstracts. A large portion of the contributed papers
will be presented as oral talks and poster discussions.
Submission of Abstracts
Abstract Deadline: June 5, 2015
Authors are requested to submit abstracts by

Location
Symposium Committee
Hamamatsu city is situated about midway
between Tokyo and Osaka. It is located near Nagoya,
the birthplace of the blue LED. It is accessible from
Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO), Tokyo
International Airport (HND), Narita International
Airport (NRT), and Kansai International Airport
(KIX). Act City Hamamatsu, the venue for the
symposium, is a city landmark located in front of JR
Hamamatsu station. In November, brightly colored
autumn leaves adorn the Hokuen (northern) area of
Hamamatsu.
