Overview
Lighpaths™ Fiber Protection System, ducting, or
raceway is the ideal system for routing and protecting
cables routed through exchanges, central offices, CATV
headends, data centers, collocation sights, hubs, shelters,
nodes, and customer premises.
Lighpaths™ maintains a 2” bend radius throughout the
system. Lighpaths™ is the only Halogen-free system on
the market, and the only system that exceeds Telcordia
GR-63 NEBS requirements as tested by an independent
third party test lab.
Mounting Hardware
The parts connecting the Lighpaths™ system do not
require mounting hardware. No other system on the
market can make this claim. Parts are assembled in
seconds with the new patented slide-on-joiner. Vertical
drops can be added in less than 5 minutes by snapping
them in place with no mounting hardware required. Drops
exit the side of the raceway in order to not interfere with
overhead ladder racking. Lighpaths™ is available in all
popular sizes to accomodate virtually any application.
Available Services
Mounting kits are available to affix the ducting to the ladder racking, threaded rod, cabinets, racks, and wall. Technical
application assistance and field support is provided to end-users, installers, and contractors. Installation services and
engineering services are also available.

Horizontal Tees are used to change directions
perpendicular to the main route.
Tees can also tee-off in a different size (i.e. 4”x 8” to 4” x
4”).
Use tees at corners where horizontal routes may
continue.

Vertical Elbows are used to change directions upward or
downward to avoid obstacles.
45 and 90 elbows are available in most sizes.
Retro elbows are supplied with a slit in the body to
permit entrance of existing cables without the need to

Downspouts
Downspouts are typically used for adding drops to an
existing horizontal route.
By exiting the side of the system, interference with ladder
racking and other objects, typically mounted above the
horizontal raceway, is avoided.
To use the downspout to add drops, a quick punch-out
is made in the side wall, and a bend-radius ramp and
downspout are snapped into place in a few seconds.

Pre-assembled Downspouts
Pre-assembled Downspouts are horizontal tees
with vertical downspouts. By exiting the side of the
system, interference with ladder racking and other
objects, typically mounted above the horizontal
raceway, is avoided.
Kits can be supplied with downspouts preassembled on one or both sides of short straight
section. To use the downspout to add drops, just
assemble to a slide-on joiner which takes seconds.
