Can you tell us a little about
your work background?
I developed a passion for
hospitality at an early age.
Although my first college degree
from California State University
was in engineering, I chose to go
back and get a Master Certificate
in hospitality from Cornell,
which led me to assignments
in Budapest, Washington DC,
Doha, Houston & the UAE.
How long have you been with
Rotana? I joined Rotana early
2010 and I was Cluster GM of
two of their hotels on Yas Island
Abu Dhabi.
Is this the first development
in Bahrain? Rotana opened in
March 2013 Majestic Arjaan by
Rotana in Busaiteen district in
the island of Muharraq. The
hotel is a first-class property,
which has been developed with
Rotana currently manages a
portfolio of over 100 properties
throughout the Middle East,
Africa, South Asia and Eastern
Europe with an aggressive
expansion plan in place. Rotana
