Opening hours for this specialised
service are from 18.00 hours to
09.00 hours – 7 days a week.

More legroom with KLM Economy

LM passengers can now
enjoy more space with the
airline’s new Economy Comfort
zone, which offers 10 cm more
legroom in comparison to the
regular. Economy seat, as well
as providing twice as much seat
back recline. A power socket for
laptops or smart phones is also
available on selected flights.
The new Economy Comfort has
now been launched on all KLM
services excluding AmsterdamParis. Seat features may vary
depending on the aircraft.

India, thanks to the launch of the
airlines’ codeshare partnership
on 01 June 2014. Both Etihad
and Jet Airways customers can
now take advantage of a broader
selection of services to India,
including flights to Mumbai,
Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad,
Chennai, Trivandrum, Cochin,
Calicut,
Ahmedabad,
Jaipur,
Amritsar and Goa.
Air Canada introduces new cabin interior
A
s Air Canada receives its first B787 Dreamliner,
long-haul passengers are soon to enjoy an improved
flying experience with the introduction of new cabin
interiors.
Passengers will be able to choose from 3 seat types,
including International Business Class, Premium
Economy and Economy, all of which will offer improved
ergonomic seating, in-flight entertainment, power
outlets and USB ports.
International Business Class customers will be able to
choose from 20 Executive Pods, all with an 18 inch IFE
screens and an adjustable seat that extends into 80
inch long fully flat bed.
Premium Economy will feature 21 seats 19.5 inches in width which will benefit from 38 inches of legroom,
a seven-inch recline and IFE screens up to 11 inches. As for the new Economy Class, it will contain 210
slimline seats with 9 inch IFE system.

Nobu to launch its first European hotel
in London
N
obu Hospitality is to launch
its first property in Europe
with the Nobu Hotel Shoreditch
set to open in London in the first
quarter of 2016.
Set on 10-50 Willow Street the
new East London property will
offer 156 rooms, as well as
such facilities as banqueting
and meeting rooms and a
fitness centre. Currently Nobu
Hospitality’s portfolio includes
hotels in the Americas, Middle
East and Asia.
Accor to launch
Adagio hotel in
Edinburgh
E
dinburgh’s historic Old Town
is to become home to a new
extended stay Adagio aparthotel.
Accor plans to launch the new
146-apartment
property
in
2017. Set in the New Waverly
development, the four-storey
aparthotel will benefit from
proximity to both the Royal Mile
and the Canongate, providing a
great base for an Edinburgh city
break.
Raffles to launch first hotel in Istanbul
A
s of 01 September 2014, guests travelling to Istanbul will be able
to enjoy a stay at the first Raffles Hotels and Resorts property in
Turkey. Set in Zorlu Center development in Besiktas, the new Raffles
Istanbul will offer a choice 132 rooms and 49 suites with views of
Bosphorus.
Guests will also be able to benefit from the signature Raffles butler
service and take advantage of such facilities as a ballroom, two
restaurants and bars and indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel will
also feature a rooftop heliport and the renowned Raffles spa, which
is set to be one of the largest in Istanbul at 3,000 sqm. The property
will offer unique design with both local and international art featured throughout the hotel. Guests will
also be able to find out about Istanbul’s latest events from the on-site “art concierge”.
New Hilton Garden Inn in Washington
G
uests travelling to Washington will be pleased
to know that they can now enjoy a stay at
the new Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/
Georgetown Area. Set in the West End district,
the new property offers a variety of 238 rooms
to choose from, as well as such facilities as a
200 sqm ballroom, a fitness centre, a seasonal
rooftop pool and a business centre. Customers
can also benefit from free wi-fi and two dining
options, including Cafe Deluxe and the 24-hour
Pavilion Pantry.
