The environment today tends to deprive the Seniors of what’s rightfully theirs. The arbitrary action of some so called leaders to exerise censorship and stop and manipulate news. No considerations for seniors’ needs or opinions sought. To remedy the situations, this News Letter has been launched. In other words“The Silent Mmajority’s Media”.The News Letter invites the reader’s participation, letters, opinions, articles etc. in English / Gujarati. Please e-mail at above address if you wish to be on mailing list ‘One whose knowledge is greater than others is more valuable than others.’ Prophet Mohammed (s.w.a) “The one who sees a wrong action done should prohibit it by his deed, if he is capable, and if he cannot do that, he should prohibit it by his tongue, but if he is not able to do even that, he may forbid it by his heart.” (Holy Prophet s.a.w.) It is narrated that the Prophet (saw) has said: Do not allow the fear of people to prevent any of you from speaking out the truth when you witness it, for speaking out neither hastens death not decreases the livelihood. Tabligh 40 Hadith -Hadith number 27 – World Federation Do not split from the Jamaat as a result of a corrupt leader Allaah’s Messenger (s.w.a) said, "He who sees from his ruler something he dislikes, let him be patient with him, for he who splits away from the Jamaat by a hand span and then dies, dies a death of Jaahiliyyah" and in a narration, "then he has thrown off the yoke of Islaam from his neck." * The Prophet (pbuh) said “tell the truth even if it hurts.” * When leadership is entrusted to other than those worthy, then await the Hour (of Qiyamah [Day of Resurrection] TRUTH IS BITTER sTy kDvu& hoyLEADERSHP IN ISLAM Find us at: www.theforumhujjatstanmore.org 2 Cronyism and Gerrymandering at the World Federation. Where there is a gathering of a few Khojas, almost inevitably the discussions lead to the Jamaat affairs. This is a trait very rarely seen in other communities which perhaps indicates that we are a highly political community. Political awareness in the community extends right from the youths up to the Seniors. However, we have failed to convert the political energy into action, and whilst we are very good at debates in ‘baraza’ discussions, we rarely act upon matters which are important to the community. We have become a community of ‘talkers’. This has led to stagnation of the community, if not regression. Our leaders have become complacent that no matter what they do, the masses are unlikely to do anything and they continue their wayward practices. Take for instance the London Jamaat and its pursuit of the Borehamwood property. It is quite clear from the emails that have been circulated that the current EC has failed to comply with the Resolution that was passed by the members. The EC did not produce quarterly reports as the Resolution had demanded. The EC unilaterally called off the negotiations with the vendors without calling an EGM to discuss what the problems were. The news was blocked from getting out by threatening the vendors not to give out any information to the members of the previous EC. And the community remained silent. If the EC leads us astray, is there anyone else to blame except us? The members of the EC should understand their responsibilities. They are the trustees, and the term trustee is not without any good reason. We the members trust them to look after the community, after the members’ interests and take a responsible attitude when it comes to dealing with matters of importance. In particular, the Charities Commission website is quite clear as to how it sees one 3 of the duties of the trustees, and I quote: Ensure that the charity does not breach any of the requirements or rules set out in its governing document and that it remains true to the charitable purpose and objects set out there. What should be the responsibility of us members then? We should vote the right people in and we should ensure that there is good governance and instead of being talkers we become doers which means that we ask questions at the right forum and at the people who are voted in and not at barazas. And if nothing else works, we should exercise our right to petition for a meeting and ask questions. If you do not sign the petition, then you should be prepared to wash your hands off the community. Pakistan is where it is today because of public officials’ busy making money and masses not doing anything. It has become a failed state. If we are not careful, our community will head the same way with our leaders lining their pockets from huqooq money (check the WF payroll) and the gullible public continuing paying huqooq funds to these institutions. At London Jamaat we have allowed the EC to flaunt the Constitution and we have allowed them to disregard the Resolution. Why are we then surprised when we see other communities progressing whilst we have regressed. This should not be surprising at all. French political philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville (1805-1859) said “In democracy we get the government we deserve”. Only we can change our fate, and if the ‘talkers’ in the community wish to become ‘doers’ they must rise to the excesses of our leaders and question their decisions which are against a majority vote and not in the interest of the community. The alternative is a very grim picture. 4 But the current London Jamaat EC is not the only body which has flaunted the Constitution and Resolution. In the last issue we touched upon the recently held elections for the President of the World Federation, and the ineligibility of Dr Moledina to stand for elections having served two terms according to the WF Constitution. We have written to the Electoral Commissioner twice, but he has failed to respond. In the meantime, Dr Moledina has been enjoying the garlands and shawls and holding himself out to be the President. There is no doubt that his election Is faulty, and he should do the decent thing and withdraw himself. The wounds of Toronto 2009 are still very fresh in our minds, and unfortunately the protagonist then was also Dr Moledina. His words still ring in our ears when he was asked to agree to fresh elections. He had said ‘people will forget all this (Toronto shenanigans) in no time’. How wrong he was. The masses did NOT forget. They revolted. London Jamaat took the lead by declaring Toronto Conference illegal which was followed by Council of European Jamaats and the Africa Federation. Dr Moledina was scuppered. His prophecy of ‘people will forget’ did not come true. A year later he relented. A Resolution was passed in Dar Es Salaam to hold fresh elections. This Resolution was faulty as well. A conference cannot overrule a Constitutional stipulation. In Dar Es Salaam that is exactly what we did. There was no constitutional provision to call fresh elections. But we flaunted constitution in the name of unity. This ‘unity’ word is the most abused word in our community. If anyone wishes to get through anything in our community, just use the word ‘unity’ and voila! It gets through. However, the politicians in our community use the word ‘unity’ to further their own ambitions and their motives ought to be scrutinised in fine detail before giving them our vote. Turning back to the WF Presidential elections, there are some people who interpret that because Dr Moledina’s first term was of two years and was under unusual circumstances, that should not be considered as his first term and that his first term was from 2011 – 2014. I disagree. To all intents and purposes, the term 2009-2011 was a proper term – he chaired meetings, acted as President in 5 executing presidential decrees and attended an Eid function at Downing Street as President. Does anyone want any stronger evidence? There cannot be any more solid witness than the British Prime Minister who greeted him as President of WF. Do these people now say that he was NOT President when he clearly was? When is a President not a President? When he wants to flaunt the Constitution? Now the constitution does NOT say ‘two consecutive terms of three years each’, which if it did would have given some credibility to the notion that the 2009-11 was not a term of three years and therefore should not be taken into consideration. The constitution says ‘NOT EXCEEDING THREE YEARS’ which means as his first term did not exceed three years that term is deemed to be his first term, and the 2011-14 term, the second term. He has therefore served two terms not exceeding three years each and is therefore barred from holding the post of the President for the term 2014-2017, according to the WF Constitution. Since Dr Moledina has refused to respect the Constitution, the only way we can avoid constitutional crisis is to get help from the lawmakers, which will probably involve revisiting ‘Toronto 2009’, the lack of quorum, the discredited elections and aftermath etc, which does not look very good on the community. We do not need to hang our dirty linen in public but if Dr Moledina remains stubborn then that seems to be the only way we can once again become a community of law and order. In the meantime, all the executive orders signed by him are invalid, and if he disburses funds, these payments will be beyond his remit, and he could become personally liable for the expenditure. Some observers suggest why make a big issue of presidential elections when the work of WF continues as previously. To these people I say, this is the difference between a civilised society and the alternative. If a community does not uphold law and order today, tomorrow we will be unable to uphold sharia, 6 which will be disastrous. In fact our sharia stipulates that we should abide by the law of the land. UK law is quite clear – you have a constitution so follow it. A Conference Resolution cannot overturn a Constitutional Clause. And let us not forget that whatever decisions we make today will be seen as a precedent by future generations, which will make our constitutions completely irrelevant giving way to the rule of the ‘mob’. The question that comes to mind is - why is becoming president of the WF so important that candidates are willing to flaunt the constitution to remain in power, and assume personal liability for actions taken under a dubious presidency? Two reasons, and from two different perspectives. From the perspective of Dr Moledina, he is a successful millionaire businessman who has attained everything possible in life, except for ‘recognition’. As president he gets recognition, is showered with garlands and shawls, and has reception with British Prime Minister. It is difficult to give all this up. The WF Newswire is full of Dr Moledina – in fact his love of news space has been emulated in Africa, where every footstep taken by Anwerbhai Dharamsi is nowadays reported in AF newswires. I suppose this is the new leadership style introduced through the famous leadership courses run by Dr Akber and Yasin Rahim.. But the second perspective is a more dangerous one. Lurking behind Dr Moledina are people who use WF as cash cow, to make money. Dr Moledina’s easy style of not questioning payments suits them. Take for instance a sum of £30,000 was paid to Bro Hasnain Walji, a former president of WF for doing an online course. More than 7 years have lapsed and we have not seen either the course being launched or the money being returned. This matter was debated extensively at the Executive Council meeting in Toronto in 2007/8, and an undertaking was given by Dr Hassam that Bro Hasnain Walji will either deliver 7 the project and refund the money. None of that has happened. The £30,000 was only the first tranche – we do not know how much more has been paid since then. This project, if readers will recall, was given to Bro Hasnain Walji by the then President and his brother in law, Dr Hassam although there were far worthier institutions which had tendered for the same contract. Job for ‘one of the boys’ as they say in politics. Or for that matter how much more has been paid to Bro Hasnain Walji for other projects – we know he did receive a significant amount on the ill fated Mubaligheen Training Programme in Syria on which WF spent near enough £1 million to educate 3 - 4 individuals. But it does not stop there. Our ex-President is always on the lookout for making a quick dollar (or Euro) or two. Dr Moledina has approved a MOVIE on the history of the Khojas under the directorship of Bro Hasnain Walji. And this one takes the cake. The original budget was US$25,000 which has now unsurprisingly become US$250,000. Since it’s Imam’s money, adding a zero does not take much. This is reminiscent of the Mubaligheen Training Programme, which started with a budget of US$20,000 and ended costing the community US$1,000,000. Not that long ago WF made a film on Gujarat costing £21,000 which is gathering dust in WF offices. Is there a need for a quarter of a million dollars being spent on a movie on the history of the Khojas, or is this a vehicle created purely for someone to make some money on the pretext of a project? Madressah Excellence Programme is draining WF of resources like there is no tomorrow. Another Mubaligheen Training Programme in the making it seems. Individuals earn five figure salaries for doing little. Expensive seminars are held in exotic capitals of the world. To them Dr Moledina is great – never asks any questions, never is around the Secretariat to check what work is being done. We have a CEO (well a pseudo CEO as Dr Moledina is supposed to be the CEO) again on an eye watering salary. This uncontrolled expenditure is likely to 8 bankrupt the institution. Despite all the excesses, the community remains silent. The FORUM calls upon the people who facilitated the election of Dr Moledina, like Brother Mohammed Khalfan, Brother Anwer Dharamsi, Dr Ahmed Hassam, Dr Mohsin Jaffer, Dr Sibtain Panjwani, Dr Sheni Jiwa, Bro Asghar Bharwani, Bro Mohammed Dhirani etc – all these people who were present at the Dar Es Salaam Conference where the Resolution for fresh elections was facilitated - if you care about the community and care about WF, please do the right thing. Ensure that the constitution is upheld!! THE LONDON JAMAAT AND SENIORS It is six months since the Seniors of this community were banished from the mosque. Against this great injustice, the masses remained quiet. Not only that, but the same seniors who had been banished joined the newly illegally created Seniors body under the appointment of P K Merali. The Vice President Azad Kassam and the Secretary Tanveer Naqvi of the KSIM Senior Citizen Association jumped ship to join the rebel group, perhaps enticed by the Jamaat. It is a well known fact that Azad Kassam loves the microphone, and it is quite possible that the Jamaat offered him part Mukhi role for him to be swayed. As for Tanvir Naqvi, he is an enigma. What prompted him to jump ship is a mystery. But what this episode shows is that there is nothing like loyalty left in our community. As for why the Seniors were banished, we are still searching for answers. We have repeatedly asked the question ‘why?’, and ‘why now?’. The only answer we received from the EC was that the EC 9 unanimously resolved to stop gracious use of Jamaat premises by the Seniors if they did not become a body under Jamaat umbrella within three weeks. But to date, no one knows, not even the members of the EC know why this ultimatum was given. People do speculate that the decision was taken by Mustafa Jaffer who was seething from all the articles Bashir Rattansey has written about him in the FORUM and wanted revenge. Well, Bashir Rattansey was not the institution – he just occupied the chair of the body, but because of him the entire body was banned from the Jamaat. Like they say, throwing the baby out with the bath water. If Mustafa Jaffer was upset, then he has no reason to be upset. Fine, there have been many articles written about him in the FORUM, BUT The FORUM stands by all it has written about The Sheikh, because whatever has been written has been the truth. The FORUM challenges Mustafa Jaffer to defend any of the accusations made against him, and if it is found that Forum has accused Mustafa without foundation, The FORUM will offer unreserved apology. But The FORUM is confident that all the stories written have been factual. For example: The FORUM has alleged for time immemorial that Mustafa Jaffer uses multiple names in different places to avoid detection. Was the FORUM wrong? Well, we have recently witnessed this. If you look at the manifesto produced by Mustafa Jaffer, he had shown his name to be Mustafa Jaffer. We voted for Mustafa Jaffer. But when the recent report on Borehamwood Project was published on the website, the President was shown as someone 10 called Mustafa Mohammad. Now we cannot recall having voted for a Mustafa Muhammad. So who is Mustafa Mohammad? Would the real Mustafa Jaffer please stand up? Was this the reason why the Seniors were banned from the Jamaat? The FORUM was first to break the news of the £41K paid to Abbas Gokal inappropriately. People did not believe that something like this could happen in an Islamic institution but time has proved that The FORUM was right all along. It has taken one chartered accountant (Ahmed Daya) to make this payment from the World Federation, took two further chartered accountants (Murtaza KG & Salim Hamir) to disguise this payment in the books and accounts thus ‘hiding’ the payment from the members, took a further chartered accountant (Murtaza Jessa) to produce a ‘cover up’ report to put a blanket on the transaction. This report was stated as being ‘independent’. How could it be independent when Murtaza Jessa is the auditor of World Federation and has produced report on the wrong doing at World Federation, his audit client, the payment made to a member of World Federation (KSIMC of London) and the report was called ‘independent’. Who is fooling who? Did this upset Mustafa Jaffer that he banned the Seniors from Jamaat? Soon after Mustafa Jaffer came into office he invited trustees from Al Ayn Foundation to the mosque, and declared arrogantly 11 that with effect from that day, the Jamaat would be replacing red Sadka boxes in our homes, with blue sadka boxes of the Al Ayn foundation. He did not say then and has not said subsequently that he is a trustee of Al Ayn Foundation. In other words he wanted us to make sadka payments to his charity and not to the Jamaat. The FORUM was first to point this out which stopped Mustafa in his tracks and the sadka contributions were saved, or we think they have been saved. We will need to look at the accounts to see if the income has gone down which if it has, it will confirm that donations have been diverted to other trusts under the trusteeship of Mustafa Jaffer Was this the reason why the seniors were banned from the Jamaat? The FORUM was the first publication to unearth the corrupt awarding of the software contract to Alphasoft Consultancy. Was this the reason why the seniors were banned from the Jamaat? The FORUM was the first to break the news that Mustafa Jaffer in one of his sermons had questioned the authenticity of the event of Kerbala, saying that all we hear in lectures is not true and that some of the events have become corrupted over the years, as in the olden days reciters used to ‘suppose’ events which over the years have erroneously become a facts, astagfirullah. Was this the reason why the Seniors were banned from the Jamaat? 12 THE FORUM was the first to let our readers know that Mustafa Jaffer’s knowledge as a zakir was suspect. In one of his lectures he had said that the Prophet SAW did not know until he was 40 that he was going to be the Prophet, and when he first had revelation he thought he had been possessed by evil. This is the belief of the Ahle Sunnah, not in Shia traditions. Was this the reason why the Seniors were banned from the Jamaat? Since June 2013 The FORUM had continually maintained that Mustafa Jaffer was being frugal with truth when he kept on repeating the mantra in speech after speech that Borehamwood Project was continuing in full force, when The Forum knew he had no intention of going ahead with Borehamwood Project. Once again, The Forum has been vindicated as we now know that the Jamaat is not going ahead with the Borehamwood project. Was this the reason why the Seniors were banned from the Jamaat? On 6th November 2008 Mustafa Jaffer had stated from the pulpit that there is no shafaa in the Quran and that it was concocted by a Jew. The Forum was the first to break this news. Was this the reason why the Seniors were banned from the Jamaat? 13 It is therefore very clear that the only reason Mustafa Jaffer and his EC had was personal vendetta. At the 2013 AGM, the same people tried to bring in a Resolution to ban Bashir Rattansey, because he was disclosing all the above stories, which they did not like. Akil Kanani brought in the Resolution and Salim Hamir seconded it. Like this publication has always maintained, Mustafa Jaffer does not do his dirty work, he has others to do them who have been blinded by his supposed ‘holiness’. In this case Akil Kanani and Salim Hamir did his dirty work. Just as Salim Hamir asked for a secret ballot on the vote for the Borehamwood Project – he was following ‘His Master’s Voice’. Well the Seniors have been BANNED but they have not been destroyed. In the meantime, the Jamaat has ‘appointed’ (not elected) a Chairman in P K Merali. The right of seniors to choose their leader has been removed with one stroke, and not even a whimper from public. P K Merali had a problem with the restriction of ‘two consecutive terms’, so now he can remain in office for the rest of his life. How convenient! All thanks to his son Murtaza Gulamhussein who was one of the architects of the upheaval with the Seniors. Zainabiya Day is going to be held soon, and the attendees should ask themselves the question- are we doing the right thing by giving credibility to an organisation which has been born out of misfortune of another properly constituted body? Will they have forgotten the khutba of Sayeeda Zainab AS on the disloyal people of Kufa? They should ponder carefully before attending any of the functions of the Jamaat Seniors born out of misfortune. 14 The question that arises is that why have Stanmore Jafferys not been subjected to the same treatment? Is it because the Jamaat can attack the vulnerable old people but cannot so with vibrant young ones? On the eve of the wafaat of our holy lady, Sayeeda Fatema AS we were all put an alert – there was going to be a speech by the Vice President Murtaza Gulamhussein. Now on such a sombre night, the speech can only mean either a major mishap or an issue of seriousness. We were wrong footed once again (this is becoming a habit with sad speeches on wiladat nights in the past). He went on a 20 minute drivel on safeguarding. Most of it went over people’s heads because it was too technical. Something like this should be dissipated by way of circular email, not a speech on the wafaat night – what a blunder!! BUT the shocking thing was that he took the glory for setting up the Safeguarding panel, which was a blatant lie. The Safeguarding Panel had been set up by the previous EC but they did not make a song and dance about it. Nearly a year has lapsed since the current EC came into power, and all they can show positively is the Safeguarding panel and that too which was set up by the previous EC. What they have done in the one year is banning the seniors, removing ladies from all echelons of administration, continue ‘ndugunisation’ (giving contracts to family and friends) killing off Borehamwood Project etc. As for ndugunisation, you will recall Shafique Hassan had a contract for cleaning the centre. Well, he got another contract to 15 refurbish the caretakers two flats, and made a mess of it. So the Jamaat is on a spending spree with Jamaat funds – refurbishment of caretakers’ two flats, new carpets in Annexe, which is now fully renovated. The question is – why are these contracts not tendered? ………/ AN OPEN LETTER SENT TO HASNU LAKHA Salaam Alaykum Hasnu Bhai You will recall , in case you might have forgotten that in 1998 you and your Accomplices Ganged up to bring about an EGM on Marhum Dr Sadiq Rahim ( May Allah Rest His Soul ) on a baseless accusation with a 17 page letter . You further accused Marhum Dr Sadiq Rahim of not answering your 17 page letter until after 17 days . Now Contrast that with Shabbir Mamdani's letter to Mustafa Jaffer onthe 3rd February 2014 and 27th February 2014 which the incumbent President Sheikh Mustafa has still not answered on the Borehamwood Project . Are you not going to write to Sheikh Mustafa to reply to letters and have some respect to members? Is this not hypocrisy of the highest Order? You see Hasnu Bhai , was it not you who appeared on the Election Day on9th June 2014 to pledge your allegiance to Sheikh Mustafa Jaffer which has now been proved to be nothing but lies and acting. The only thing that is proved to be true is that you Hasnu Bhai Lakha have absolutely no remorse for what you and your Accomplices did on that fateful day in 1998. Where are you all today when it comes to the so called leaders like Mustafa Jaffer and calling for an EGM ??? Hasnu Bhai, You will recall we witnessed the largest turnout of a funeral in the history of Stanmore when Marhum Sadiq Rahim Passed away. Hasnu Bhai, this is proof that the community will never forget or forgive you for the injustice you and your Accomplices did to one of the best Presidents we ever had. Finally , just for your information , the U tube video of the EGM in 1998 when Marhum Dr Sadiq Rahim was humiliated and forced to resign in Dignity is now in wide circulation amongst members of the community and worldwide titled Darkest Day in History of Hujjat Stanmore , London. I would appreciate if you could kindly answer my one page letter in the next 16 seventeen days. (Name and Address Supplied .) 9th March 2014. Wassalaam Note:As per the U tube video titled DARKEST DAY IN HISTORY OF HUJJAT STANMORE the perpetrators were as follows:- The LYNCH mob of 1998 in action.(visit http://www.theforumhujjatstanmore.org/ ) 1) HASNU LAKHA (SPEARHEADED. Buddha. Is your day-starts ‘fulfilled’? How do you start your mornings? Personally, I'm a substantial user of digital technology, and in my current position I oversee activities of a electronic newspaper. So first thing after waking up, I usually go online and see what came in overnight. What does my early morning routine look like? Perhaps you can relate. Along with checking e-mail from several accounts, before breakfast I usually open up my Facebook pages and see what's happening in the world of my Facebook friends not forgetting the tweets. During that process I check to see how many "likes" my notifications may have received and what comments may have been made. 19 Obviously, communication platforms in the current digital age agree with me. Sometimes I wonder how I'd get along without my Smartphones, tablets and laptops. But then I have to ask myself, is this necessarily a good thing? Am I connected to what really matters? What about you-what's your answer? Today you can't write an e-mail or text to all and sundry, GOD. But there are other tried and true ways to communicate with the most powerful Being in the Universe. Let's consider that Prophet Ebrahim was extraordinarily wellconnected with things that truly matter. In one example Prophet Ebrahim praying-communicating directly with God-and thus having a direct impact on a major public and leader of the day, as well many associated with that leader. The Quran includes many more examples of Prophet Ebrahim, Moses and other Quranic figures talking directly with God! Consider further what God desires in a solid relationship with each of us: - God has a specific plan for each of us. - We reach God directly through Prayers, through Wasila, our Savior in occultation. - God offers "incomparably great power for us who believe" . - God wants us to give us eternal life in his Paradise. - God rewards those who seek Him. - God will shield us from harm. - God supplies our needs and blesses us in alignment with His perfect will. 20 Wouldn't you want this kind of relationship with the most powerful Being today? The Quran and Hadiths, (Ahlul Bayt a.s.) Goes on with hundreds of examples of people like you and me who prayed intelligently thanking, asking, consulting, and interacting with God. All without WiFi! Accordingly, I ask these critical questions: How do we prioritize our day? Who or what comes first? Recently I watched a Web seminar that featured young adults talking about their dependency on digital devices, a dependency that some would consider addiction. The Millennials, as they are called (young adults born sometime between the early 1980s and the early 2000s), are noted for communicating with their thumbs. That is, they text dozens of times a day with their acquaintances. Some would say that they are addicted to getting their information, comfort and relationships through their smart phones. Some of the presentations in this seminar were about weaning oneself from this digital dependency. However, this dependency is still there. It can eclipse our ready need for reaching out and communicating with a Greater Intelligence and Communicator. During the webinar one charming Millennial was interviewed about her morning regimen. Instead of focusing on electronic inbound communication, she begins her day by communicating on the more powerful platforms of prayer, reading the religious and other inspirational material, journaling, scheduling and tracking. She starts the day right by spiritually communicating with the right sources of knowledge rather than the abyss of the Internet. One could start the day with remembering and thanking the Creator 21 and surely the day will prove well. One does not need any gadgets, Wifi to remember him. He is all attentive and eager to grant you. All one has to do is remember and ask. Just ask! Your day WILL be fulfilled. America: the Emerging Sodom of the “End Times” Dr Javed Jamil Thousands were waiting outside Supreme Court in anticipation of a “historical” decision. The decision came and jubilations began. Men were kissing men and women were lip- the “End Times”. The mysterious Illuminati which are speculated as the hidden dark forces behind all that is happening on the earth have started looking real. The New World Order is on way to becoming a historical truth. The Hadith literature is full of the prophesies about the “End Times”: “The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Prayers will be neglected, carnal Desires will be pursued, transgressors will become leaders, it will not be possible to distinguish the faithful from the false, telling lies will become desirable, payment of Zakah will be taken as a burden, the believer will be deemed the most disgraceful and he will be pained at seeing evils all around and his heart will melt as salt in water but he will not be able to say anything. Rain will do no good; it will fall out of season. Males will commit adultery with Males and females with females. Women will dominate. The offspring will disobey their parents, friend will treat his friend badly, sins will be taken lightly. Mosques will have external decorations and beauty and there will be worshippers too but there will be hypocrisy and mutual enmity in their hearts. Then will appear a people from the West who will dominate the weak among my people. People will produce copies of the Holy Quran in letters 22 of gold but will not act upon it. The Quran will be recited in a melodious way. Usury will become rampant. Human blood will have no value, religion will have no helpers. Singing women will be on the increase. The rich will perform the Hajjas as a pastime; the people of the middle class will do so to conduct business and the poor to beg for charity." What can be a better description of the New World Order than portrayed in the above hadith? The picture is almost complete. With Syriain turmoil and on the verge of war, the Believers of Armageddon and Mahdi are watching the events unfold with anxiety. Once the US has got all the major constitutional hurdles removed in the institutionalization of homosexuality, its globalization will begin with new vigour. When the Superpower of the world feels something right, the whole world will have to follow. Unite Nations and Human Rights Organizations will turn it into a major global issue. They will increasingly use it as a stick to beat the countries that do not toe their lines. The merchants are already reaping harvest. The new businesses – gay clubs, gay resorts, gay traveling agencies, gay escorts, gay counselors, gay marriage and divorce bureaus, gay family centres -- will soon start attracting an increasing number of customers. Gay Pornography is already there but will have new impetus. It is not that the population of gays in Americas at large. It is not more than 3 percent at the moment including the bisexuals. But what is alarming is the overwhelming support of Americans for gay rights. With all the constitutional hurdles removed, many will feel inclined to have at least the taste of the new sex. Once exposed to the first “puff”, many would become addicts soon. With children living in the company of their gay “parents”, they will of course ensure that the numbers continue to grow. The world that does not recognize these relationships is getting smaller. And it is sleeping. It does not feel there is a need to step 23 up campaign against the most unhygienic and most lethal form of sexual relationship that endangers the very survival of humankind. There is no one to tell the world that the life expectancy of homosexuals may be 20-30 years lower, and that this has been one of the major factors in the genesis of AIDS that has already consumed more than 40 million lives. They are busy fighting one another. The Illuminati are in full swing. The Devil of Economic Fundamentalism is having a great day. The Heavens too are watching. The Heavens are the only hope. But they may not even have to rain stones from above. If the institutionalization and commercialization gets the expected acceleration; the reproduction will automatically come to standstill. The world may die much before the Trumpet is sounded. * Dr Javed Jamil is India based thinker and writer with over a dozen books including his latest, “Muslims Most Civilised, Yet Not Enough” and “Muslim Vision of Secular India: Destination & Road-ma Pyara va&cko ! ‘form’ ma& tmara Ai-p/ayo , sucnaAo ma4e Aa-ar. ‘Form’ Aa=a ra`e 2e ke tmaro sa9 rhe=e Ane :-me;l Aavta rhe=e. vSslam. : - me;l9I moklo. Life can begin at 60, it is all in your hands! S. Ramachandran - Courtesy The Hindu 24 Many people feel unhappy, health-wise and security-wise, after 60 years of age owing to the diminishing importance given to them and their opinion. But it need not be so, if only we understand the basic principles of life and follow them scrupulously. Here are ten mantras to age gracefully and make life after retirement pleasant. 1. Never say 'am aged': There are three ages, chronological, biological, and psychological. The first is calculated based on our date of birth; the second is determined by the health conditions and the third is how old you feel you are. While we don't have control over the first, we can take care of our health with good diet, exercise and a cheerful attitude. A positive attitude and optimistic thinking can reverse the third age. 2. Health is wealth: If you really love your kith and kin, taking care of your health should be your priority. Thus, you will not be a burden to them. Have an annual health check-up and take the prescribed medicines regularly. Do take health insurance cover. 3. Money is important: Money is essential for meeting the basic necessities of life, keeping good health and earning family respect and security. Don't spend beyond your means even for your children. You have lived for them all through and it is time you enjoyed a harmonious life with your spouse. If your children are grateful and they take care of you, you are blessed. But never take it for granted. 4. Relaxation and recreation: The most relaxing and recreating forces are a healthy religious attitude, good sleep, music and laughter. Have faith in God, learn to sleep well, love good music and see the funny side of life. 5. Time is precious: It is almost like holding a horse's reins. When they are in your hands, you can control them. Imagine that every day you are born again. Yesterday is a cancelled cheque. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is ready cash -- use it profitably. Live this moment. to be continued....../ મારું ઘર એક સ્વર્ગ છે , અને મારી પત્ની એ સ્વર્ગમાુંના કલ્પવ ૃક્ષ જેવી છે .
