SUB: XIV KUMAR SURENDRA SINGH MEMORIAL SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP AT NEW
DELHI FROM 25th June to 1st July 2014.
Dear Sir,
The XIV Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship, which was postponed will now be held
at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, New Delhi from 25th June to 1st July 2014 as per the program attached.
This will be conducted by the National Rifle Association of India. Shooters from your State/Unit are invited
to participate in this Championship. The terms and conditions are as under:1. Shooters who took part in 56th NSCC & 57th NSCC and have achieved qualifying score as per rule 17.6
of NRAI Match Book 2013 are allowed to participate in this Championship. Copy of MQS is attached
herewith for your ready reference at annexure “A”
2. The competition will be conducted in individual and in team events. There will be no team event in
junior category. Shooters who have taken part in 57th NSCC on wild card entry cannot be the member of
the teams and furnishing wrong information in this regard would attract disqualification of team. Teams
can be formed by the shooters of the same State/Unit only. Final entry of three members of the team
must be submitted latest by 17.00 hours on the previous day of the start of the match. Only one team per
State/Unit will be allowed in each event. The competition will be conducted in the events as per
annexure “B”.
3. The entries will be accepted through respective affiliated State Rifle Association/Units only. The entry
fee should be remitted by Cash/Money order or by Bank draft in favor of THE NATIONAL RIFLE
ASSOCIATION OF INDIA. Kindly note that cheques will not be accepted. The entry forms duly
completed along with entry fee should be sent to this office so as to reach this office before 16th June
2014. The Shooter’s name as per Shooter ID Card and Shooter ID number must be entered in the entry
form and a copy of SHOOTER ID CARD SHOULD BE ATTACHED WITH THE ENTRY FORM. In
case, shooter still does not have the ID number, it must be applied immediately and shooter’s date of
birth should be entered in the entry form along with a copy of date of birth to be attached with the entry
form. Late entries with triple entry fee will be accepted till 20th June 2014.
4. SHOOTERS FROM RAJASTHAN, WHO FULLFILL PARTICIPATION CRITERIA, MAY
SEND THEIR ENTRIES DIRECTLY TO NRAI. THESE SHOOTERS WILL BE
PARTICIPATING UNDER THE BANNER OF NRAI.
5. Shooters who participated as a junior/youth during 57th NSCC but now are above 21/18 years as
on 31st December 2014 will be allowed to participate in senior/junior category only. A shooter
below age of 21/18 years as on the 31.12.2014 will be treated as junior or Youth, as the case may
be.
6. Scores achieved by the shooters during this Championship will be considered for selection of
international teams as per Selection Policy and 2015 National Squad.
7. Shooters taking part in Rifle event are not allowed to take part in Pistol event or vice versa.
8. Finals will be conducted in all Olympic events for SENIORS AND JUNIORS.
9. Individual and Team medals will be awarded as under:I 3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 entries
II 2 medals where there is a minimum of 3 entries
III 1 medal where there is a minimum of 2 entries
IV No medal in case there is a singly entry
10. Protest fee is Rs. 200/- and in case an appeal is filed with the Jury of Appeal, then the fee is Rs. 500/-.
The fee will be returned if the protest is upheld and retained by the Organizers if the protest is lost.
11. The competition will be conducted according to ISSF rules and regulations.
12. No arms will be provided to the competitors by NRAI. Ammunition will be made available against
payment.
