InterAfcon (Mozambique) LDA is established as an ‘’Niche’’ oil and gas service company providing
value added contracting solutions to the oil and gas sectors in the areas of:
 Onshore and Offshore oil and gas production and transportation facilities
 Refining and Petrochemicals
 Training
 Camp and Accommodation Facilities

Who We Are
 InterAfcon (Mozambique) LDA is established in Maputo, Pemba and Palma with offices and
facilities in each location.
 InterAfcon (Mozambique) LDA is jointly owned by Inter-Engineering and Consulting DMCC, a
Dubai based oil and gas consultancy (51 %) and Vantage Engineering (Mozambique) LDA (49%)

Vantage Engineering is an ISO and OHSAS Certified self-performing, design build firm specializing in
engineering and construction in a variety of industry sectors, including oil & gas, defense, commercial
and mass affordable housing. Vantage Engineering combines these services with its operations &
maintenance capability to provide a complete end-to-end project approach.
Vantage Engineering maintains exceptionally high standards for health
and safety, ethics and compliance and environmental protection, and is
committed to delivering quality projects on budget and on schedule to
the complete satisfaction of its clients.

 Storage Facilities for structural steel and plate tubular goods, pipe fittings, valves etc… (self owned)
 3rd party services- QA,QC,NDT, certification, local law compliance
 Oil field chemical supply and storage

 Training – coded welders/boiler makers/rigging/safety/crane and mobile equipment operators/
technicians- instrument, electrical and process operators this training is both formal (class room)
and on the job.
 Supply and fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchanger, pipe spools, tanks and skid assemblies
 Electrical and Instrumentation installation and commissioning
 Marine off -loading facilities and logistics

 In-House surveys and technical studies (soil, hydraulic, hydrological, etc.) Geotechnical
investigations, Environmental impact studies, conceptual design, preliminary and detailed
engineering plans and specifications
 Design and construction of civil infrastructure for sites including but not limited to roads, MEP
utilities, communication trenching and structural foundations.
 Commercial, Institutional, Residential and Industrial buildings including, Camps, Accommodation,
Warehouses, Dutch Barns, Offices, Medical, Training and Dining Facilities.

Experience:
Over 35 years experience in Oil and Gas, petrochemicals and refinery business worldwide. Experience includes project management, engineering,
procurement, construction, fabrication, commissioning and start-up. Specializing in recent years in sales and marketing of EPC services and general
management of satellite business units.

Novara Energy, executive director and shareholder of Interconsulting and Engineering DMCC / InterAfcon (Pty) Ltd.

Experience :
Over 15 years of professional experience in the management of specialized technical teams delivering engineering solutions globally. Specializes in rapid
deployment and mobilization of assets and personnel for complex projects in remote and challenging locations. Currently the CEO of Dover Vantage Inc an
established EPC firm with the US Government for civil infrastructure projects throughout Africa and Middle East. A former Military Officer with vast
operations and logistics experience across Africa, Middle East, Europe and Central Asia.

Apolinario J. Pateguana
Experience :
Mr. Apolinario Pateguana is a Mozambican born entrepreneur, educated in management from the Maharishi University of Management in
Fairfield, Iowa, with over 15 years of business experience in Southern Africa. Launched a number of successful companies in Mozambique,
including Mobile operator Vodacom Mozambique, where he is a shareholder and serves as a non-executive director. Co-founded Africa
Prepaid Services Mozambique in 2005 in partnership with Blue Label telecoms, helped launch Brolaz Mozambique, a Telecoms Infrastructure company, in partnership with Brolaz Projects (Pty) Ltd.
Past Experience :
Co-founded Capitol Services Mozambique, a remote site services company in partnership with Capitol Caterers from South Africa and Bus
Corporation, a leading provider of transport services. Mr. Pateguana is a member of the fiscal counsel at Opportunity Bank Mozambique and
has facilitated entry into the market for multiple companies in various sectors including Banking, Mining and Energy.
He is a member of the Southern African Institute of Directors since 2004.
