Scope included project definition, cost estimating, equipment sizing/specification, process design, P&IDs, PFDs, layouts and procurement assistance for gas injection/withdrawal wells, line heaters, fluid measurement, chemical injection, 3-phase separators, oil production well head facilities, oil and water tank batteries, heater treater, skimmers, filtration and water disposal. In addition, LGS configured gas dehydration and multiple stages of recompression to support nitrogen rejection. Refurbishment of 22,000 HP high pressure injection compression was also included. CLIENT: Company Zhaikmunai LLP Northwest Kazakhstan Project Description Summary of Project Scope GTU 3 (2010-2011) FEED Package for 250 MMscfd cryogenic gas processing plant. In addition to HYSYS models, PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, lists, equipment and instrument data sheets, a detailed capital cost estimate and level 2 Primavera schedule was generated. Scope included plot plan development of new Amine Unit, P&IDs, PFDs, layout of new equipment in existing unit, pipe routings, civil and structural steel designs. Provided construction and procurement assistance for the project. Napoleonville Storage Facility (2012) Napoleonville, LA, USA Developed underground piping plan for existing storage unit. Scope consisted of unit walk-down and field investigation, survey, and updating P&IDs and PFD to “As Built” condition. Expansion allowed an increase in ethane recovery from 57% to 85% for 140 MMscfd. Scope included stress analysis for all new and existing plant process piping as well as replacement of existing piping and equipment not rated for the new lower operating temperatures. Fain Gas NGL Enhancement (2012) Amarillo, TX, USA Detail engineering for a recycle residue gas compressor. The new configuration will utilize 8.5 MMscfd of compressed, chilled residue gas as reflux and will increase the ethane recovery from 47% to 85% and propane recovery from 87% to 99%. Modifications included installing inlet slug catchers, expanding the process buildings, adding low pressure water systems with flares at two of the sites, and installing lower noise coolers for the site generators. CGF Separation Upgrade Provided detail design services to upgrade existing 3-phase separator at three CGF sites and design a low pressure separation system for the water handling facility. Island Compressor Station Plant Addition JT The existing gas compression facility was expanded on a fast track schedule to include a 25MMCFD skid mounted JT Gas Processing Plant along with a CAT/Worthington 399TA Recompressor Unit. Blacks Fork JT Plant Expansion A detailed design project for the addition of a new recompressor package, slug catcher, cold separator and redesign of an ethylene glycol injection system. HYSYS modeling and debottlenecking of the existing gas plant was part of the scope. CLIENT: Company Whiting Petroleum Belfield, ND, USA Project Description Summary of Project Scope Belfield Gas Plant (2010/12) Detail engineering and design/drafting for a green field propane refrigeration and NGL processing plant. Complete PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specification and procurement support. Scope included modifications to the existing leaching plant, new gas plant design, multiple meter stations, interconnecting gas pipelines, brine disposal pipelines and cavern and brine disposal wellhead facilities. LGS performed detailed analysis and costing of various brine filtration technologies and brine disposal alternatives, and we completed the AFE capital cost estimate for all facilities, pipelines and wells. Concurrently, we completed the detail design for a low pressure brine filtration and disposal facility. Caledonia Storage Facility (Caledonia, MS) (2011) Front end engineering and detail design for an expansion project to an existing high pressure cavern storage facility. LGS completed a pressure uprating study and analyzed various compressor alternatives. The station is part of a gas storage facility designed for seasonal injection and withdrawal requirements. Project scope also included upgrades of the existing electrical system and modifications to the plant fuel gas system. Totem Gas Storage A grassroots gas storage facility consisting of two high speed engine/reciprocating compressor packages. The station also included a dew point control plant.
