
Carlsbad Field also included gas compression installation (compressor, inlet
separator, discharge separator and fuel gas separator).

Buckeye Field also included CO2 distribution systems, WAGS, water station
upgrades, sour water disposal system. Rangely field also included field compressor
modifications, CO2 plant revisions, and drip trap work on existing pipelines, as well
as on site as-built drawings for well pad sites.

Jal Processing Plant also included field verification and drafting services for

Ryckman Creek Gas Storage
Facility (2010/2011)
Front End Engineering Design for a gas storage facility and enhanced oil recovery at a
depleted oil field in Western WY. 480 MMscfd high deliverability storage with associated
gas processing including amine processing, dehydration and nitrogen reduction. Scope
included project definition, cost estimating, equipment sizing/specification, process
design, P&IDs, PFDs, layouts and procurement assistance for gas injection/withdrawal
wells, line heaters, fluid measurement, chemical injection, 3-phase separators, oil
production well head facilities, oil and water tank batteries, heater treater, skimmers,
filtration and water disposal. In addition, LGS configured gas dehydration and multiple
stages of recompression to support nitrogen rejection. Refurbishment of 22,000 HP high
pressure injection compression was also included.

Eunice, LA, USA
Detail design and engineering for gas treating facility revamp. Project consisted of
extended field presence in order to establish “As Built” drawings, locate tie-in points and
develop new pipe routings and equipment layout. Scope included plot plan development
of new Amine Unit, P&IDs, PFDs, layout of new equipment in existing unit, pipe routings,
civil and structural steel designs. Provided construction and procurement assistance for

Detail engineering for a propane refrigeration addition to the front end of an existing
cryogenic natural gas processing plant with helium recovery. Expansion allowed an
increase in ethane recovery from 57% to 85% for 140 MMscfd. Scope included stress
analysis for all new and existing plant process piping as well as replacement of existing
piping and equipment not rated for the new lower operating temperatures.
Fain Gas NGL Enhancement (2012)
Amarillo, TX, USA
Detail engineering for a recycle residue gas compressor. The new configuration will utilize
8.5 MMscfd of compressed, chilled residue gas as reflux and will increase the ethane
recovery from 47% to 85% and propane recovery from 87% to 99%. Scope included
piping reconfiguration, stress analysis, process evaluations/simulations and existing
equipment evaluations.

LGI Team modeled the field gathering system and evaluated the equipment within each of
three Central Gathering Facilities (CGF) as the inlet pressure declined to identify and
mitigate the formation of hydrates in the gathering system.

Front End Engineering Design for a 300 MMscfd dew point depression plant. Four
existing gas exchanger/chiller skids and a complete propane refrigeration system were
evaluated for rerating and reuse. Preliminary design for NGL stabilization, storage and
loadout was also included.

LGI Team completed the detail design for a 210 MMscfd compressor station, including
two arctic duty Cat 3612/3608 Ariel recip compressor packages and all related equipment,
including modular auxiliary building, filters, coolers, blowdown silencer, fuel skid, tanks
and ESD system. Also included was a complete custody transfer meter station with
ultrasonic meter skid, control valve skid and filtration.

Waha Storage Facility (Midland, TX)
(2011)
Front End Engineering Design for bedded salt storage facility. Complete PFDs, P&IDs,
equipment specification and procurement support. Scope included modifications to the
existing leaching plant, new gas plant design, multiple meter stations, interconnecting
gas pipelines, brine disposal pipelines and cavern and brine disposal wellhead facilities.
LGS performed detailed analysis and costing of various brine filtration technologies and
brine disposal alternatives, and we completed the AFE capital cost estimate for all
facilities, pipelines and wells. Concurrently, we completed the detail design for a low
pressure brine filtration and disposal facility.

Fort Morgan Compression Addition
A gas storage facility expansion consisting of one (1,200 HP) high-speed
engine/reciprocating compressor package complete with integral engine/gas cooler. The
station is part of a gas storage facility designed for seasonal injection and withdrawal
requirements. Project scope also included upgrades of the existing electrical system and
modifications to the plant fuel gas system.
Totem Gas Storage
A grassroots gas storage facility consisting of two high speed engine/reciprocating
compressor packages. The station also included a dew point control plant. Project Scope
included all phases of detailed engineering and design for the compression and well site
installations.
