Month 4:
Make the Block
1. Half Square Triangles: Follow Steps 1-3 on Page 4, Month 1 to make (4) 2” halfsquares substituting Pink #2. Make (2) 2” half-squares substituting Pink #2
and Teal # 1.
2. Stitch a Pink #2/Teal #1 half-square to the left side of a Pink #2
square. Make (2) units.
3. Stitch the two units together, matching center seams. Press seams
open to reduce bulk.
4. Stitch a Pink #2/Background half-square to the left side of a Background square. Make (2) units.
5. Stitch a unit from Step 4 to each side of the unit from Step 3 as
shown.
6. Stitch a Background square to each side of the remaining units
from Step 4. Make (2) rows.
7. Stitch the rows from Step 6 to the top and bottom of the unit
from Step 5. The unfinished block should measure 6-1/2”,
