The Superintendent and Board of Trustees honored the following students, staff and community members for their achievements and contributions A. School Board Recognition Month B. Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas donated $10,000.00 for Let’s Move for Scholars fundraiser event; C. Frito Lay Score for your School Program donated $10,000.00 to United High School for the Let’s Score for You School Program; D. Dr. Olankunle Jonhnson donated $ 1,600.00 to Migrant Program Students for jackets. Dr. Johnson has donated jackets for this program for the past 5 years; E. Rebekah Hernandez of Alexander High School-Laredo Female Athlete of the year – Cross Country All-State; F. Derrick Esparza Quarterback of United High School -Memorial Award for the Latin-American International Sports Hall of Fame and Gridiron Legends Texas High School Player of the week.
