International Conference "Piezoresponse Force Microscopy and Nanoscale Phenomena in Polar Materials" (PFM-2014) and International Youth Conference “Functional Imaging of Nanomaterials” Ural Federal University, Ekaterinburg, Russia July 14-17, 2014 Second Announcement Scope: The joint conference will cover a wide range of topics related to functional imaging of nanomaterials by various techniques including Scanning Probe Microscopy (Piezoresponse Force Microscopy – PFM, Electrochemical Strain Microscopy – ESM, Kelvin Probe Microscopy – KPM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Optical Microscopy (Confocal Microscopy – CM, Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy – SNOM, and Raman Microscopy – RM). Call for Abstracts: Deadline for abstract submission is March 1, 2014. Every participant may submit up to 2 abstracts to the Conference. Prepare your abstract according to the template (http://labfer.ins.urfu.ru/pfm2014/documents/pfm-2014_abstract_template.doc). This Microsoft Word document contains all text styles necessary for abstract preparation. Indicate what kind of presentation you prefer: oral or poster. Put the section number. Name the file with the abstract in the following way Surname#.doc (for example, Shur1.doc). To submit an abstract you should log in to your profile or register as a new participant (http://labfer.ins.urfu.ru/pfm-2014/myprofile/registers.html), choose Edit->Upload your profile and upload the abstract file at the Abstract submission tab. Call for Papers: Deadline for paper submission is July 17, 2014. The conference proceedings will be published in the Special Issue of Ferroelectrics. Selected papers presented at PFM-2014 will be a part of the Piezoresponse Force Microscopy Issue of Journal of Applied Physics.
