MDS founder Dr. Jerry Purcell will continue with the company as CEO and Chief Engineer. Mr. Shultz brings more than 30 years of corporate leadership to MDS. Previously, he was Director Hardware Systems at Iosono-Sound GmbH, a manufacturer of 2D/3D Audio Technology for cinema and consumer hardware and software. Prior to Iosono-Sound GmbH, he was Senior Member of Technical Staff at Motorola, later renamed Freescale, a semiconductor products company. Mr. Shultz has direct operating experience managing manufacturing, development, distribution, Internet and service companies.
