A Reintroduction to the
Messengers of Allah and Their Nations
Name of Messenger
T
HERE was no nation left without a Messenger
sent by Allah, the most High with a special
prescribed law for his people, or a prophet sent
to revive prescribed laws given previously. Allah, the
most High, says:
“And verily, We have sent among every Ummah
(nation, community) a Messenger (proclaiming):
Name of Messenger
“Worship Allah (alone)”, and avoid (or keep away
from) Taghut (all false deities).” [An-Nahl/16: 36]
“And He, the Exalted, said: Verily we have sent you
(O Muhammad) with the truth, a bearer of glad
tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation
but a warner had passed among them.” [Faatir/35:
24]

Nuh in the curved sandhills in
the southern part of the Arabian
peninsula. They were intelligent
and prosperous but disobedient

from the Message of Tawhid,
Allah destroyed them with violent
westerly winds. See Al-Quran 7: 59
and 65, 46: 21 and 69: 6.

son of Saam, the son of Nuh.

An ancient nation that lived
after Nuh in the rock tract in the
northwest part of the Arabian
peninsula.
As Hud, the people of Salih were descendants
of Irem. They rejected Tawhid and so
were destroyed by Saa’iqah (torment,
thunderbolts). See Al-Quran 11: 61-68, 51: 44,
41: 13, 91: 11

from the lineage of Isma’il, the greatest of all
