The standard of competitive cycling in Lesotho has been growing at an
exponential rate over past seasons. Lesotho riders are setting the pace
for African MTB and have already made an impact on the international
cycling scene. This proposal sets out our plans and how you can be part
of this exciting team and grass-roots cycling initiative.
We have succeeded in becoming the first indigenous (black) African
team to be licensed as an International Cycling Union MTB Team and
in 2015/16 we plan to build on our successes towards RIO 2016 Olympic
Games.

VISION:
Riders: We are committed to showcasing the talent of
Lesotho cyclists on the international stage and providing
each aspiring rider with a positive and safe environment to
develop to their full potential in the sport of cycling, whilst
at the same time inspiring the next generation of riders to
take up the sport.
Partners: We are committed to providing our partners and
sponsors with a unique platform to promote products,
services and social responsibility and to be loyal, industrious
and inventive in our approach bringing our partners
unrivalled value for investment.
GOALS:
Ÿ To see the team represented in at least 30 international
quality races in 2015/16 with an estimated total of
30,000 competitors and 500,000 spectators.
Ÿ To see riders racing in World-Class Races - World Cup,
World Championship and Olympic Games 2016.
Ÿ To win at least 3 National Championship titles.
Ÿ To initiate a grass-roots development programme for
children, involving at least 100 local children.
Ÿ To provide 365 day media coverage through website,
Facebook and Twitter.

6. INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We are looking for CASH SPONSORS and PRODUCT SPONSORS.
In order to compete at international level and to give the best exposure to

PREMIER LOCAL SPONSOR/ SUPPLY PARTNER:
our sponsors and partners, our minimum annual budget for 2015/16 is
€40.000/ $50,000/ R500,000.
We are structured our sponsorship into 3 levels:
TITLE SPONSOR (Maximum two title sponsors):
Ÿ Minimum investment of €15.000 / $20,000/ R200,000 per annum as
cash or in-kind product or services sponsorship.
Ÿ The official Team name will include the Sponsor’s Brand Name on all levels
of publicity, media, communication, clothing and branding opportunities.
Ÿ The Official Team name including sponsors brand will feature on the
International Cycling Union database.
Ÿ The Sponsor Brand will feature very prominently on the Team Kit, both
chest and back of team jersey and on shorts.
Ÿ Team branding will give prominent exposure at the Team Pit Area at all
events where the team is participating. The Gazebo will act as a team
area, VIP reception and a hub for promoting your products at events.
Ÿ Full access to team/ individual athletes for marketing purposes.

Ÿ Minimum investment of €1000/ $1,300/ R13,000 per annum as cash or
in kind product or services sponsorship or discount on product.
Ÿ Small sponsor logo to appear on team jersey, website and Team Pit

Ÿ A loyal and committed team who will treasure your brand/ products,
