The Honors Family at
Iowa State University
Volume 27
Honors Program Graduates 1960-2013
1
Honors Alumni:
Welcome to the 27th annual University Honors Program Family Book. As always, it has
been a great pleasure reading your entries. It’s interesting to see what a varied and
accomplished group of people have journeyed through the Honors Program since 1960.
We appreciate your continued interest in the Honors Program and its mission.
Listed here are the names and personal information of Honors Program graduates who
have given us permission to post their information on the web. The listing of Honors
graduates is in alphabetical order, and the women graduates are listed by the names they
used when students in the Honors Program.
If your name is not in this book, it is because we did not hear from you in the past two
years. The request for your personal information was included in our Summer 2013
Alumni Newsletter. We hope you will complete one in the upcoming 2014 newsletter to
bring us up to date.
We hope you enjoy this issue of the Honors Family Book and find that it helps you stay
in touch with your Honors friends. And if your travels bring you to Ames, please come
by to visit.
KEYS TO ENTRIES
We had a number of options to choose from in organizing this book. We finally decided to list
people in alphabetical order rather than categorize by college or year of graduation.
This volume of the booklet (#27) lists those individuals who returned the information sheets
during 2012-2013. Entries marked by an asterisk (*) are those we received in the ’13-’14
academic year.
For convenience of looking up married women, we have inserted their entries in alphabetical
order by the name that they used as undergraduates. Their married names, if different, are in
parentheses.
Finally, we did as little editing as possible on the information given to us. What liberties we took
were mainly for consistency of style and form.
