Turbo is very well bred with Zan Parr Bar right on his papers and also going back to Doc Quixote, Two Eyed Jack and Jet Deck. Turbo has been ranch ridden his entire life and you couldn’t ask for a better using horse. He has been on the Crooked River Ranch outside of Abilene, Texas for the last 4 years and used for all phases of ranch work, including roping and doctoring cattle in the pasure, dragging calves to the fire, sorting cattle in the pens, and ponying colts. Rope anything you want on him and he will pull. After you pen and pasture cattle you can step off and he will ground tie and hold the cattle while you doctor them. Turbo travels out well with his head down, is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture and crosses water with no problem. He has a really nice handle, is good on both leads, will do flying lead changes, sidepass, work off your leg and open and shut gates. He is quiet and laid back, but is very responsive and has a tons of speed when you ask him for it. Turbo rides great by himself or with other horses. He is perfect age to take in any direction, whether you want to use him on the ranch, ride him for pleasure, or take him to the arena and make a performance heel horse, ranch rodeo horse or versatility ranch horse. Turbo is gentle and has never offered to buck, but he is too much horse for children or beginner riders. He has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe.
