Standard Primary and Secondary
COMPLETE CALIBRATION SOLUTIONS
Flow Dynamics primary standard calibration laboratory, by
Badger Meter, offers precision calibrations in air, gases, water,
solvent and blended oil. These calibrations are sought after by
automotive, aerospace, industrial process, OEM, and custody
transfer customers.
Flow Dynamics can calibrate any flow meter from any manufacturer
within the scope of our accreditation. We provide certified
calibration data sheets, comprehensive meter historical data,
annual reminders, and a 7-day standard turnaround, with expedites
upon request. UVC calibrations may take longer due to the custom
blending of fluids. Secondary standard calibrations can be done
on site using master meters installed in existing piping. This
enables the meter to be calibrated using the actual process fluid,
without removal from piping, eliminating system variables that are
sometimes difficult to reproduce in the calibration lab.
CREDENTIALS
Flow Dynamics in Scottsdale AZ meets the highest standards,
having achieved accreditations to ISO/IEC 17025, certified
compliant to ANSI/NCSL Z540 and NIST Handbook 150 by the
National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP Lab
Code 200668-0). Working with an NVLAP-accredited flow calibration
laboratory delivers the quality and consistency to support the most
critical flow measurement applications. Our quality management
systems conforms to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
FLOW CALIBRATION CAPABILITY
Our laboratory uses primary standard positive displacement liquid
calibrators and bell provers for gas. A sonic nozzle bank is used for
high pressure gas calibrators.

FLOW CALIBRATION INFORMATION
Flow Dynamics records flow meter calibration data by the meter
serial number allowing us to retrieve previous calibration history for
comparison to the current calibration information. These records are
stored over the life of the meter. If this is the first time a meter has
been calibrated, the record system requires setup information at the
time the order is placed.

Return Material Authorization Number (RMA)
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
The Return Material Authorization Number (RMA) is the order
number. It must be placed on the shipping container to identify the
meter when it reaches our receiving department. The RMA is issued
at the time the order is placed and will track the meter through the
calibration process. A file is set up in the database using the RMA
number to place notes, purchase order documents, administrative
details, or drawings pertaining to the calibration process.

calibrations are available with an expedite fee. Every effort is made
to return the flow meter promptly pending the degree of calibration
