There has been a donation of a NCE DCC system from Sally Tullar to the
club. There is a plan to upgrade the system from a tethered handheld to a
radio controlled Cab. Also there will be a second Cab added for more than
one operator with multiple engines. The system is currently at the NCE
headquarters being upgraded.
Bob Loran and Dave Wierowski will be adding circuitry and two switches
for utilizing both DC and DCC power operation. Bob has also added new
LGB switch drives on the switches. Those currently working with these
drives are switch #1 (old #1 & #2 crossover), switch #2 (old #2 & #3
crossover) Switch #3, tunnel/viaduct entrance, switch #4 entrance to the
yard by the watch tower, #5 switch entrance from track #1 to the viaduct
high line. All are switched by the Track #1 Revolution handheld.

James will operate on the large indoor layout. There will
be loops of track on the floor as well. Something for the
whole family and it’s free.
