Normally operated at real time speeds (IE 24 or 25 fps), but can run much slower for brittle or damaged film. Speedy! TURBO MODE for 1280 x 720p/50 fps: 10 minutes to capture a half-hour reel of 8mm/Super8! The transfer process is simple, and non-technical people can produce good results with nominal training: • Adjust rollers and laser as needed for 8mm/Super8, 9.5mm, 16, or optionally, 17.5 or 28mm film. • Load film and press “SCAN” mode. • Set initial adjustments: Zoom, Focus, Pan, Framing, Color and picture adjustments, audio levels. ✓ Waveform monitor, vectorscope and audio meters are built into software for picture and sound adjustments. ✓ “Look Ahead” Auto Light and Auto White modes allow easy setup on well exposed film. The Look Ahead function then anticipates needed adjustments and makes them just when the change hits the gate.
