・ It is deemed desirable to participate in local events
or international festivals in Ishikawa Pref.
・ The grantees must attend a scholarship award
ceremony. (early July)
・ The grantees must submit “Suggestion to Ishikawa
Pref.” (September) and “Report of Activities” (March).

Remarks
・ Engaged in Machine Engineering Electrical and
Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Physics,
Information Processing, Environment.
・ Stipend will be granted in November and the next
May. (\300,000/ each time)
・ If the grantee will not be in Japan in May next year,
the stipend (\300,000) will not be paid.
・ Submit a short essay (6,400 Japanese letters)
・ The grantee is permitted to receive other scholarships
such as JASSO. (not any companies’ scholarships)
・ Adequate ability (writing and speaking) in Japanese
and English is required.
・ The grantee is not permitted to receive other
scholarships of over \1,500,000/ year.
・ Engaged in Information and Telecommunication or
related themes in the field of law, politics, economy,
society, culture, and technology.
・ The total amount of this scholarship and other
scholarship should not exceed \100,000/ month.
・ The grantee must report the progress of his/her
research a half year after he/she starts receiving
scholarship.
・ Applicants who have already earned a doctoral degree
are not eligible.
・ The grantee should attend the meeting. (6 times/ year)
・ After the end of benefit period, the grantee must attend
exchange activities of SATOM (a group consisting of
former scholarship recipients of this foundation)
・ Interview will be held in December.
・ The grantee must attend their gathering every month,
and the scholarship student's report is required to be
submitted.
・ The grantee must submit the transcript (per semester)
and the report (every 3 month).
・ Tuition fee (limited) and airfare for returning to Taiwan
after completion of degree is provided.

Remarks
・ Applicants are will be Master or Doctoral students.
・ Return ticket to grantee’s home country is provided.
・ Tuition fee is waived during the period of
the scholarship award.
・ The grantee is not permitted to receive other
scholarships of over \360,000/ year.
・ Travel expenses to attend a conference in Japan will
be supported.
・ Candidates will take the Interview in Japanese if they
have been selected for an interview. (mid January)
・ The grantee is not permitted to receive other
scholarships of over \20,000/ month in total.
・ The student must be able to assure the committee
that he or she will be able to secure employment in
his/her home country after graduating.
・ The student must be able to carry an everyday
conversation in Japanese.
・ Interviews will be conducted in Japanese.
・ Some of the travel expenses to attend a conference
(overseas/ in Japan) will be supported.
・ The grantee should attend the workshop hosted by this
foundation (1 time/ year, 3 days/2 nights in japan).
・ The report and the essay(800 Japanese letters) must
be submitted (2 times/year).
・ Preferably major in Science and Technology.
・ Stipend will be granted in June, September,
