Britiannia Teaching School Alliance is an Appropriate Body for NQT Induction. In addition to undertaking verification of NQT induction assessments we are also offering a full range of NQT support services and CPD including: A full day NQT conference featuring inspirational speakers and workshops Five half termly training sessions covering areas for development that NQT’s have identified themselves.These sessions are delivered by a range of experts from across the Alliance and include opportunities to work with experienced colleagues in a different school context New NQT Induction Training and Mentor Handbook Extra support visits can be arranged at an additional charge for NQT’s judged not to be making adequate progress against the Teacher Standards The cost for each participant is £650 for the complete NQT package. JASON BANGBALA Jason Bangbala is a leading Educational Consultant, delivering his unique style of training to organisations across the UK. As well as training courses and consultancy work, he continues to be an active classroom practitioner. His core areas of training are Behaviour Management, Circle Time, Coaching and Structured Play. His training programmes are tailored to reach a wide range of staff in education. TOP MARKS Putting awe and wonder at the heart of teaching and learning. A practical session that includes the opportunity to observe classroom practice in an alternative primary setting. Looking at the role of assessment and data in ensuring progress. This session contains many practical ideas and strategies to take back in to the classroom. This session contains practical strategies to ensure challenge and engagement through questioning. The session will help NQTs to develop an understanding of why pupils might behave in certain ways and examine a range of responses and proactive strategies useful for dealing effectively with them. The session looks at inclusion across the primary school and multi-agency working. So you have passed your NQT year – what next? A session exploring how to keep the momentum going to ensure you develop as an outstanding teacher and potential leader. The session will explore career ambitions; the professional pathways and CPD opportunities; professional development profiles and health and well being.
