(Tip: Lunchtime works well in cafeterias or social hubs.) 2. Invite local transportation professionals to participate. (Tip: Start by contacting those listed on the back of this handout.) 3. Come up with an enticing draw (raffle, free food, games, etc.) (Tip: If you don’t have a budget, ask vendors to donate a raffle prize.) 4. Publicize your event in advance with flyers, email blasts, posters, banners, company intranet, an Outlook meeting invitation, etc. (Tip: Coordinate with your Human Resources group, Wellness Coordinator and Sustainability folks to leverage support for your event.) 5. On the day of the event, set up tables for vendors and invite your employees to learn about how they can save money, increase productivity and reduce stress by improving their commutes!
