The new assignment involves various upgrades, renovations and expansions at 13 schools within the District, working in concert with various notable architectural firms. Cadence McShane will begin a portion of the work during the current school year requiring detailed planning and due diligence to ensure an undisturbed learning environment and safe conditions for students, faculty and visitors. Cadence McShane will work with architect Corgan Associates, Inc. to complete new construction and renovations at Forest Meadow Junior High School and Dover, Merriman Park and Mohawk Elementary Schools. In addition, the team will complete auditorium renovations and upgrades at Berkner and J.J. Pearce High Schools. Cadence McShane will also partner with architect PBK to provide renovations and upgrades to Big Springs Elementary and an addition and improvements to Wallace Elementary School will be completed. Working with Reed, Wells, Benson & Co., the firm will provide MEP upgrades to Richardson Heights, Northrich and Dover Elementary Schools. Architectural designs for this assignment are complete with construction currently underway on three of the projects.
