The PME Driver from Particle Measuring Systems provides the
connection between Ethernet-based instruments and SCADA systems. The PME Driver can connect to multiple Particle Measuring Systems
instruments simultaneously, allowing for instrument configuration and
sample data collection.
The PME Driver is a stand-alone OPC Server, facilitating a simple
connection to any building management system or SCADA system that
supports running as an OPC client.
The PME I/O driver works with the
following instruments from Particle
Measuring Systems
•Airnet® and Airnet II Particle Sensor
•Lasair® II and Lasair III Particle Counter
•IsoAir® 310P Particle Sensor
•AM II-16/32 Aerosol Manifold
For users with GE Proficy iFix SCADA installations, the PME Driver delivers
the sample data directly to the process database.
The PME Driver incorporates the following attributes to provide flexibility
and ease-of-use:
• OLE automation technology
• FIX/iFIX integration
• Event-driven architecture
• OPC (OLE for Process Control) compliance

locations with a fixed particle counter.
