commercialization of know-how and innovations, increase the competitiveness ability of hi-tech industries, attract foreign investment on hi-tech and speed up the technology transfer process.

Visits, events and achievements
Latvian trade delegation in PTP
During the delegation visit from PTP, topics like companies success stories,
support scenario of start-up companies and INOTEX 2014 were discussed, in
addition to the intorduction presentation of PTP lectured by Director General
of PR & Intl affairs.

Kazakhstan interest to establish cooperation with PTP
Mr. Atamkluv, vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan mentioned the activity of science and technology parks
in Kazakhstan and expressed the interest of signing MoU with PTP for future
extension of cooperation.

ICTP Director exxpressed impressiveness
“Thousands of students, researchers and professors annually visit ICTP to do
their research works, join workshops and etc.” said Dr. Fernando Quevedo,
Director of International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP).
H. E. also expressed his impressiveness about the advantages of PTP and
especially the technologist companies. He said, “Holding common workshop
in ICTP would be possible with the ARA Company ” after becoming familiar
with the activities done in this Company.

INOTEX2014 exhibitors after three-day endeavor
Right after the end of INOTEX2014, a group of exhibitors met with PTP
official as the secretariat and performer of the Fair During the meeting, the
outcomes of this years’ exhibition was elaborated. They also met with the
CEOs of two premier companies in PTP and were informed about their
activities and achievements.

Atomic Force Microscope (AFM)

Ara Research company was established in 1998, with the aim of
providing the latest technological apparatus needed in nano research
and nano applications.
Product brief:
The main product of Ara Research is Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).
AFM as an important apparatus in the applied nano projects and indus
tries related to nano technology, is now produced with the latest known
AFM-modes and most developed hardware and software.
Design Objectives:

Visits, events and achievements
Provision of suitable connection between university and enterprises
Dr. Olivia Muchena, Minister of Science and Technology Development of
Zimbabwe paid a visit to Pardis Technology Park (PTP).
Dr. Muchena evaluated the connection and cooperation of PTP and universities
as suitable after the explaination of the cooperation of university teachers and
companies.

Sanctions effects on technology Progress of I. R. Iran
Egyptian guests of International Union of Unified Ummah came to PTP to
better perceive the progress of Iranian companies in S&T. “Independence to
reach at needed technologies was the golden opportunity for Iranian scholars
and researchers during the past years”, expressed the Director of International
affairs.
The guests evaluated the IT advances of Iranian companies quite considerable
in comparison to several years ago.

Technology transfer contract with FARAN Group Company
Tommaso Capietti, the export Area Manager of SIEL company from Italy, in
the visit with PTP officials described the general activities of company in areas
of UPS, switching equipment and solar systems and refered to the signature of
contract with FARAN Group Company.Mr. Capietti talk about the fruitful
market in Europe and have counterparts in America.
