Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to attend the 98th annual PCOOS Meeting to be held at the
Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina, San Diego, CA June 27-29, 2014. PCOOS
strives to be a leading regional meeting for the Western states, with parallel programs in
Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology. We are very excited about the quality of the
educational program. This year’s program offers 17.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™”
Our Guest of Honor in Otolaryngology is Rick Friedman, MD, Professor, University
Southern of California, Los Angeles, CA. The featured speakers in Otolaryngology
include Bozena Wrobel, MD, Associate Professor, University of Southern California, Los
Angeles and Bryan Wong, University of California Irvine. The Guest of Honor in
Ophthalmology is Robert Stamper, MD, Professor University of California, San
Francisco. The featured speakers in Ophthalmology are Don Kikkawa, MD, Professor,
University of California, San Diego, CA. and Lawrence Morse, MD, University of
California, Davis. With our tradition as a family meeting, the program includes
opportunities for golfing swimming, sightseeing to include the world renowned San Diego
Zoo, Sea World, Lego Land, the Gas lamp Quarter, Coronado Island, Wild Animal Park,
Balboa Park, Horton Plaza Shopping, and Old Town. San Diego is a particularly great
location for a family vacation.
As a smaller meeting in an informal setting, the nature of the program allows for
interaction with renowned speakers as well as time with colleagues and friends.
The ingredients are in place for a high-level meeting that is both stimulating and
enjoyable. I hope you can join us in San Diego in June.
