PMS Groups
MICROS-Fidelio only. Filters the content available to a
guest room, based on the TV privileges set in the MICROSFidelio system (for example to restrict adult content). For
roomMaster PMS systems, similar functionality is configured
directly using the AvediaServer.
Occupied Rooms
Linking AvediaPlayer Receivers to the PMS means that
occupancy status is indicated by a real-time room display.
Guest Features
Basic Features
Guest Name Display
VoD Billing
The guest name is displayed automatically on the
AvediaServer Portal Client Interface home page together
with customizable text (for example, “Welcome John Smith”).
Video on Demand prices and purchase information are
displayed on the AvediaServer Artio Portal Client Interface.
All PMS charges for a room can be viewed (for example,
bar bill, room services or newspapers), as well as any VoD
purchases.
Guest Bills and Checkout
Guest bills and checkout facilities can be viewed using the
AvediaServer Artio Portal Client Interface. The text seen by
the guest can be customized and localized.

Advanced Features
Artio Room Service
Artio Pay TV Channel Support
Through Artio, hotel guests can see a grid of room service
items grouped into categories with optional icons for each
service. Room service orders can be created, including
itemized and total service costs. Guests can view and track
the progress of service requests through the Artio portal.
A hotel can set up specific TV channels as chargeable and
set tariff rates linked to a PMS. Guests are prompted to
confirm the charge and are allowed 24 hour access to the
channel (or group of channels).
Artio Services
Artio Mailbox
Hotel guests can order services such as laundry, taxi or
baggage pickup through the TV in their room. Administrators
can create customized forms offering services to guests.
When a guest fills in a form an email request is sent to order
the service. The guest can see and track the progress of
service requests using the Artio portal.
Messages created in the PMS can be sent to specific guests
who can then view and retrieve the message using the
Artio portal interface. A mailbox icon appears if a user has
a message waiting. Messages are retained until deleted, or
the guest checks out.
