Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Inova Labs and Department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. See additional responsibilities below.             Technical expert and resource for current repair products. Assess, repair and reassemble refurbished product and subassemblies. Second check evaluation on problem units. Complete difficult repairs and oversee triage issues. Provides input on work instruction accuracy through redlines and process change updates. Train personnel on all new/update work instruction and process changes. Provide status on customer inventories and individual units. Maintain inventories of repair parts and refurbished POC’s. Provide prioritization for hot units with minimum disruption on the line. Provide and monitor training and cross training for RMA headcount. Provide input on disciplinary and quality issues to management. Cover any temporary headcount gaps. MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS: Education:  Graduation from High School or GED. Experience:  1 – 2 years medical device manufacturing experience.  Read, write and speak English.  Operate semi-complex equipment/fixtures.  Perform repetitive tasks on a continuous basis  Able to lift 30lbs. Licensure:  N/A ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Required to work 40 hours per week, includes hours other than 7:00a.m. – 3:30p.m.  Overtime hours including Saturdays as requested by supervisor.  Must conform to Inova Labs dress code, work rules and safety procedures.  Non-smoking environment in Inova Labs building.  A skills test may be conducted at time of interview.
