24.-25.10.2014 Block seminar: Design Thinking: Moderation,
Presentation, & Time Management Skills!
Design Thinking is a method to solve problems and to develop new
ideas. In our seminar we will learn about how using important Design
Thinking principles to plan projects and seminars can increase
efficiency and efficacy as well as also save time. Furthermore, we will
use Design Thinking principles to practice moderation and
presentation methods. The seminar will also encourage the
development of teamwork, innovative processes, and creative thinking
skills.!

07.-08.11.2014 Block seminar: Nach dem Studium: Wohin? –
Einstieg in die Arbeitswelt und Reintegration!
What to do after graduation?! - many of you might ask yourselves this
question sooner or later. This seminar gives you the opportunity to
share practical and personal experiences and useful information.
STUBE will present its BPSA-Program. Some might be interested to
get some news from the Ausländerbehörde and the legal basis about
students working in Germany. The Returning Experts Programs from
CIM and Brot für die Welt will be also introduced.!
Venue: Borsigstr. 5, Berlin!

20.-22.02.2015 End of the semester weekend seminar:
Conflict Management!
We will travel together with students from the ESG and residents of the
Konvikt to Brandenburg to discuss this topic. What is the actual
meaning of “resolving a conflict”? How does a conflict begin and what
factors fuel it? Is a conflict an accident that we need to overcome or is
it something from which we can learn?!
Venue: Hirschluch close to Storkow!
25.-27.03.2015 Weekend seminar: Is colonialism still occurring
today? The Cause and Consequences of Colonialism, Imperialism,
and Neo-Colonialism!
How do you see developed countries or Germany, the country in which
you have studied for a few years? Is there a story behind these
perceptions and how can these stories be explained? What is the
significance today of colonialism, anti-colonialism, and post-colonialism?
What can we learn from history?!
The seminar makes it possible for participants to question different
ideological viewpoints from the perspective of Germany, Europe, and the
(rarely still used) “Third World”.!
This seminar will be offered in cooperation with STUBE Sachsen.!
