„Europäische Humanistische Universität – Förderinitiative e. V.“ (EHU - FI) organizes
a “Political Fall Academy” on the topic: „Perspectives of European Integration“ in
Frankfurt a. M. In close cooperation with the Chair of Economic Development and
Integration of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Belarusian students are invited to
participate at EHU – FI´s annual conference on the history, development and future
of European Integration. In joint seminars with German students, young and
talented Belarusians shall discuss different topics related to the political and
economic foundations of the European Union in special regard of the Belarus and
“Eastern Partnership”.
The main goal of the event is to get students from Belarus and Germany together to
participate in lectures and discussions to broaden their understanding of the
institutions of the European Union, talk about own experiences and to contemplate
about the future of Germany and Belarus in Europe. The event focusses especially
on current events regarding German and Belarusian economic policy. Additionally to
the academic program participants will be introduced to the applied side of
European integration. Visits to the Pauls-Church as well as a guided tour at the
European Central Bank and the Trade and Industry Chamber of Frankfurt a. M. will
support practical insights.
