澳大利亚知名大学招聘录取官员 A prominent Australian university is seeking to hire an Admissions Officer The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is looking to hire a motivated team player to be based in the UTS Beijing Office to assess applications from international students. The incumbent will work closely with the Recruitment team within the office of UTS International. Job Responsibilities 1. Assess new applications received from international students according to UTS guidelines. 2. Assist in the conversion of incomplete student applications into offers. 3. Pre-­‐screen applications at the point of receipt to ensure the applicant meets minimum UTS entry criteria. 4. Ensuring that applications for admission are processed in accordance with UTS policies and enrolment schedules and in a consistent, timely and equitable manner. 5. Advice applicants on suitable academic pathway programs to gain requisite academic and English language requirements. 6. Prepare standard admissions correspondence and preparation of non-­‐
standard correspondence, including advanced standing in accordance with Faculty guidelines. 7. Create and update student records on UTS’s international Application Management System (iAMS). 8. Submit daily reports on applications assessed. 9. Answer admissions related email and phone inquiries from UTS authorised representatives. 10. Comply with Australian Commonwealth legislation concerning recruitment practices for international students including the ESOS Act as well as the Australian Vice-­‐Chancellors’ Committee Code of Practice and Guidelines for Australian Universities which is published at http://www.universitiesaustralia.edu.au/resources/337/324 Selection Criteria & Skills & Attributes 1.
