Bar-b-q. Southern style Bar-b-q is a celebration of tradition, community
and history. It is a food to be shared when friends and family are
gathering!
We’re here to help you create an amazing function at The Curious

BEER 101
FUNCTION
Give your guests a unique function combining beer and food! Perfect
for work groups and bucks shows
Guests will expand their beer knowledge and learn the history of
beer and how it’s made - plus explore the James Squire beer range
and how it pairs with our Curious Squire menu.

BOOKINGS/DEPOSITS
‘exclusive’
hire.
As an incentive, The Curious Squire generally doesn’t charge a
venue hire fee for the use of the outdoor terrace , as long as
an agreed minimum spend for the use of the area is reached
on the specified night. This amount will be clearly explained
prior to your functions confirmation by our functions
co-ordinator.
We will pencil in your desired date immediately upon booking
however a credit card authorisation form for the deposit must
be submitted within a week of making your booking to secure
your reservation date permanently. Not submitting this form or
making alternative arrangements for deposit payment within this
time will result in cancellation of your booking.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations made within 14 days of your event will result in
loss of your deposit. If cancellations are made prior to 14 days
but less than 1 month before your event you will be entitled to
a refund of 50% of your deposit. Cancellations made prior to 1
month will receive a full refund of the deposit.
FINAL NUMBERS
At the time of your function enquiry, you will be required
to give a relative estimation of guests attending your
proposed function. Confirmation of final numbers are
required a minimum of 7 days prior to the date of your
function. At this time the total food bill for the event will
be charged in direct correlation to this confirmed number,
unless specifically arranged otherwise with the function
coordinator.
FOOD MENUS
Details of all food selections are required no less than 7
days prior to your event. Please provid e any special dietary
requirements, allergies or further requests regarding the
menus at this time. Prices are subject to change to cover
seasonal food menu changes.
