Schools are starting back and we’re enjoying a great summer, hope you have
enjoyed the break with family. This Sunday at all locations at all services you’ll
have an opportunity to be prayed for by the church leadership, see below for more
details. We’re also handing out devotionals at all locations to start the year with
21 days of prayer for our church, school and families. Come along and be part of

Anointing service
This Sunday 1st February at all locations at all services. This is your opportunity to be prayed for by the
leadership, individually or as a family. Be available for God for what He has in store for you in 2015.
21 Days of Prayer
Join us for 21 days of prayer from Sunday 1st February. We will be handing out devotionals to help you
pray specifically for areas in our nation, our city, our church, our families. Or check out our website for
each day’s devotion. A great way to start the year, with prayer!
Spotlight on family
Don’t forget to listen. A child who is struggling with a situation is often looking for someone to
simply ‘hear them out’ and understand. They want one other person to deeply know and care. This is
one of the most amazing forms of love we can give. It reassures a child we are on their side, their pain
matters to us, and we care. A child also wants to hear that we trust them and believe they have the ability
to manage the situation. It often pays to wait before we offer our advice. Until they have been heard, it can

KAI+1 STARTS BACK 9th FEBRUARY
Another year and opportunity to REACH, SERVE & INFLUENCE our COMMUNITY
at two schools in the Whangarei area. Lunches, baking, small packets of crackers,
raisins, fruit or any other healthy options can be dropped off to the church office on
your way to work, right through to 4pm. Families helping families!
