DESCRIPTION The UV-BELT series includes a line of conveyor belts - made in different shapes and sizes-equipped with UVC rays modules that fully irradiate food products and packaging, eliminating microorganisms on their surfaces. UV-BELT is made of a conveyor belt with a stainless steel grid with open edges, whose speed is controlled by an inverter, which allows the tunnel to adapt easily to the normal production rate. The structure can be realized in stainless steel (AISI 304 or 316) or anodized aluminum or aluminum and polycarbonate, supported by legs with adjustable feet or wheels to facilitate movement. A special security system at the entry and exit of the tunnel allows the passage of food without the escape of UV light, in complete safety for operators. The modules are equipped with LIGHT PROGRESS UVLON, a special structure for the safe installation in any type of production facility. The UVLON, FDA polymer (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) is applied as a film protection for the module (UVLON FRAME) or as individual protection of each tube (UVLON PIPE), and prevents the fall of glass pieces in case of lamp breaking. Tested by Light Progress is transparent to the germicidal frequency. The Tunnel UVC can be custom made according to customer requirements. The tunnel is equipped with 4 or more UV-TEAM modules, arranged to irradiate objects 360° including radiation from below, through the steel grid. Some example applications: Precooked bread treatment; using a special belt with a stainless steel net, we improve the irradiation level until covering all the surfaces at 360° (addition medium of shelf life +150%). Fresh Pasta treatment; (gnocchi, ravioli, tortelli, etc.) we obtain an high level of shelf life (min. 20 days, max. 60 days) irradiating the products in cooling tunnels or in multilevel falls, during the final phases of production.
