Introduction to Ayurveda February 11 – February 18 9am –11:30am daily This seven day course will cover the fundamental principles and ideas of Ayurveda in an understandable and practically useful way. It is designed for people with no prior experience of the topic. At the end of the course, you should have a basic working knowledge of Ayurveda and an ability to apply it in your own life. Learn what is your Dosha, what foods to eat (in India or at home), what spices to use, how to prevent disease, what to do if sickness occurs and much more. Ayurveda is the law of karma considered in terms of health and disease. Our study will place us at the center of an ocean of wisdom and we will explore the many connections of Ayurveda throughout the Indian tradition. In 2004, I completed my two year studies in India with Dr. Sunil Joshi, a world-renowned Ayurvedic Physician and Panchakarma Specialist. I received the Ayurvedic Sadhana Padavika Diploma from the Kalidas Sanskrit University of the State of Maharashtra, India– the first such program for Westerners ever offered by an Indian University. I have taught courses on Ayurveda all over the United States. For more information- Call Peter Malakoff at: 1 960 076 5222 [email protected]
