PARENT NIGHT
When: Thursday, February 26
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Rocanville School Gym
We invite parents, grandparents and
caregivers from all communities to attend
Are you aware of the dangers your child is subjected to when
he/she is online? Do you know what Social Media is and the
different forms of it like 'Snapchat' or 'Instragram'? Do you
want to know more about what your kids are doing with the
Internet? Do you want your children to be 'real world savvy'?
The focus of this night is to provide education to parents
(families) on ways to help build skills to increase their children's personal safety and reduce the risk of victimization
online and in the real world.
Speakers will be speaking (sharing) on topics such as internet
safety, safety programs for children and much more.

SENIOR DRAMA IS ON NOW!! And we have extremely exciting news! This year our Rocanville School Drama
Club will be heading to the Region 1 Drama Festival which is being hosted by McNaughton High School in
Moosomin. We will take our show on the road and showcase our talents to other schools and audiences from southeastern Saskatchewan. There will also be prizes up for grabs, such as various acting awards, numerous technical awards
such as stage managers, lighting crew, etc., and the large prize “Best Overall Performance.” This is an exciting opportunity that both the members and directors are looking forward to!
We will once again be hosting an evening performance on Tuesday, March 24th for family and community members
where advance tickets will be sold. You may purchase these tickets from the office or a drama member. Tickets will
go on sale the beginning of March. This is our last show before we hit the road and we need you to cheer us on. Region
1 Festival is being held the weekend of March 26th-28th and we hope that some of our biggest fans come to support us
in Moosomin as we compete against other productions!
We are so eager to showcase our talents both at home and on the road and we hope you are too!

Heather (Bock), Derek and Delaney
Kolowca would like to thank everyone
for their prayers, positive thoughts and
financial support as they begin on this
journey with Delaney’s onset of
paralysis. This has been a difficult
journey but having such an outpouring
of love to guide us through this
transition has made it easier to bear.
We intend to put the financial support
we have received to assist us in
off-setting the costs of renovating our
home to be wheelchair friendly and
purchasing a wheelchair accessible
vehicle. We would love to thank each
of you individually but we just cannot
at this time as our days are filled with
treatments and therapy. Please accept
this note as a deep and sincere thank
you for your generous spirits.
