Be part of a company for which "service" means everything Tasks Reporting to the Purchasing Director, the Assistant Purchasing fulfils all of the following tasks: │ Supports the Purchasing Director in the assessment and negotiation of purchasing contracts with suppliers and in the performance assessment of the department and suppliers │ Follows up requests for quotation for products with no determined prices │ Prepares the required documents for the comparative analysis of submissions and for price adjustments notifications received from the suppliers │ Performs updates of the information found in the purchasing system for base products and components │ Prepares and follows up sample purchase requisitions │ Prepares and analyzes numerous reports required for the suppliers’ assessment, the order tracking, and the assessment and negotiation with foreign suppliers and North American suppliers Requirements │ │ │ │ │ │ │ │ College diploma in administration or any other relevant experience Good knowledge of English and French languages Excellent knowledge of Excel and Outlook General knowledge of MS Office Suite Well organized (working method), responsible and meticulous Team spirit and analytical skills Good time and stress management Ability to adapt Working Conditions │ Location: Victoriaville │ Permanent position; eligibility to the Company’s group insurance plan after three (3) months of service and to the pension plan after one (1) year of continuous service.
