An assortment of desserts prepared by LRRC members will be provided. We are pleased to welcome Jay Stoltzfus, Magician. Jay discovered his interest in magic at age 7 when a 6th grader did some magic at a school function (he had always thought you needed to be an adult to do magic before that). He went to Penn State for 2 years and was accepted early to Optometry School. Later, he worked at the Magic Castle in Hollywood while doing is externship in L.A., and was later accepted at the University of Oxford for postdoctorate research. While in London, he decided (last minute) to enter the I.B.M. International Competition representing over 40 countries. . . and won 2nd Place. The next year he returned with his 'real act'. . . and won 1st Place. Since then he has received two other 1st Place International Awards. Directions to Meadia Heights Golf Club: From the end of South Prince Street in Lancaster (Dirty Ol’ Tavern is on left at the bridge), continue to head south on Route 222 out of Lancaster toward Willow Street for .9 mile. Turn left on Golf Road (if you reach Roslyn Ave. you’ve gone a little too far). Follow golf road to the club house. There are parking lots on both sides of the road. Note: Volunteers are needed to make desserts as well as to set-up and clean-up.
