NEVER in this nearly two-decade history have I had a child as STOKED and HAPPY about camp as we did this summer with Rancho's camp. My daughter attended every session and BEGGED us to drop her off as early as possible and stay as late as possible. She had an absolute blast, loved all of the camp counselors/instructors and really got into each of the different camps - from developing a business plan and her first website to cooking lots of different things to sports camp. Whatever you did this summer to make this camp so good, PLEASE keep it up. We will be back next year! Superior management running the camp! Rancho has skilled leaders and adult instructors...not just apathetic teenagers leading the camp. This is the BEST camp that Rancho has ever offered- and we've done a lot of Rancho camps. My daughter happily hops out of the car each morning, excited for what the day holds. She very often asks if she can be picked up late because she just loves every minute that she spends at camp. She has done Fish Tank, Cooking, Sports, and soon will do MythBusters. I love the variety. We have had a very positive experience. Xpedition campers explore engineering, art and technology while joining in leadership and team-building initiatives. Programs include Disney™ Leadership Adventures, 3D Printing, Lego™ Robotics, Intro to Entrepreneurship (Fish Tank), MythBusters™ and more. Campers are grouped by age/grade Each week Xpedition Camp centers on a new exciting discovery theme that broadens campers’ horizons. Additional activities throughout the week include daily open swim, and leadership and team-building activities. Popular special events include instruction on the Rock Wall and other challenges focused on the weekly theme. Under the supervision of an experienced Rancho Summer Camp adult staff, campers have fun developing new skills, exploring new interests, building self-confidence, and growing in ways that benefit campers long after the summer is over. Page 3 SPORTS & GAMES CAMP Ages 7 to 9 Sports & Games Camp is for the camper who loves athletics and friendly competition, but doesn’t want to focus on one particular sport. This camp is fun and action-packed; combining a mix of team sports with swimming. Our Rancho Rock Climbing Wall, the Sports & Games Olympics and a special event featured each week are revered among all campers! SPORTS & GAMES CAMP Campers are grouped by age/grade • Beach Games The Sport & Games program promotes the development of athletics, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and most of all, fun. Designed for boys and girls ages 7 to 9, Sports & Games Camp caters to the athletic ability level of each camper including beginner, intermediate and experienced campers. This tournament-style camp program includes skill competitions, championship events, creative play, relay races and pool games. Each week campers are divided into evenly matched teams to participate and compete in contests and games all will enjoy. Each day campers have the opportunity to participate in our free-swim program. Each week concludes with exciting Rancho Summer Camp Friday Field Day competitions followed by an end-of-camp award ceremony recognizing and honoring all of our participating teams.
