From Kitchenette Perspective
CONCEPT:
SIMPLICITY & EQUILIBRIUM
SOLUTION:
DETAILS
The design concept is simplicity and
visual equilibirum. The office should be
neat and organized – it does not need to
be complex or colorful. The limited area
is balanced between the two sides of the
office.
In order to create a feeling of equilibrium,
the office is divided by a walkway into two
equal sides. Reception is at the entry,
with natural flow to the workstations,
kitchenette, and supply areas. The
conference room is located at the first
floor, so it is accessible to the guests and
customers. The partner offices and the
collaboration area are on the mezzanine
floor.
I imagined the office to be filled with white
color to provide a sense of purity. Minimal
design details promote simplicity, yet
add life. To create visual equilibrium,
furniture is balanced on either side of
the space, and divided by the center
walkway.
White upholstery and paint, along with
minimilistic detailing promote simplicity.
Various shades of brown are introduced
to avoid monotony and add warmth.
