PACIFIC HIGHWAY OFFICE ROADWORK REPORT (Kew to Queensland Border) WEEK No. 6 – 2015 Monday 2 February to Sunday 8 February 2015 Kew to Kempsey Construction work will take place between the Oxley Highway (near Port Macquarie) and South Kempsey from Monday 2 February to Saturday 7 February from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Temporary traffic control will be in place involving reduced speed limits, shoulder and/or lane closures, and intermittent stoppages. Minor delays will be experienced. General maintenance including pavement maintenance, median works, signage, line marking, roadside mowing, guardrail and wire rope repairs, guidepost and/or vegetation work will take place as required. Minor delays will be experienced with temporary traffic control implemented involving reduced speed limits, mobile works, shoulder and/or lane closures with only one lane alternately available at some locations, and intermittent stoppages: Herons Creek from Tuesday 3 February to Wednesday 4 February from 7:00am to 4:30pm. (north bound) Cooperabung (15km north of Port Macquarie) from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February from 6:00pm to 6:00am (night work.) Kundabung (10km south of Kempsey) to South Kempsey Interchange from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February from 6:00pm to 6:00am (night work.) Kempsey to Coffs Harbour Construction work will take place between Frederickton and Eungai and between Nambucca Heads and Urunga from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Maclean to Ballina Construction work involving clearing, survey and pavement works will take place between Pimlico (3km south of Ballina) and Ballina. Temporary traffic control involving reduced speed limits, shoulder and/or lane closures, and intermittent stoppages will be in place from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Temporary traffic control involving reduced speed limits, shoulder and/or lane closures, and intermittent stoppages will be in place from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Minor delays will be experienced. Tugun Bypass – Night Works on Thursday 5 February from 8:00pm to 6:00am (both directions closed alternately) Chinderah from Tuesday 3 February to Friday 6 February from 7:00am to 4:30pm. Sheet 2. Notice to Motorists Traffic management and reduced speed limits will be in place where needed to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and other road users. Motorists are advised to plan their journey and allow extra travel. While proceeding through these work sites, motorists are requested to observe all warning signs, adhere to any direction given by traffic controllers and reduce speed accordingly.
