funds by discovering how and where to look for potential
funders who are a good match for your organization.
(8 hours)
Need some help improving communication, teamwork and
efficiency with Spanish-speaking employees, customers,
citizens or patients? Workplace Spanish® is a series
of easy-to-use, job-specific, Spanish training programs
developed for workplace use.
Instead of learning academic Spanish, which takes years
of study and practice to become proficient, Workplace
Spanish helps you communicate in brief, basic Spanish.
You learn to ask basic questions, greet customers, talk
with patients, or issue job commands. To make it as
easy as possible, our programs use “bite-size” terms &
phrases that do not require knowledge of grammar, verb
conjugations or complicated language rules.
Prerequisites: No prior Spanish experience is necessary.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Online Courses
Chemical Lab Tech
ONLINE COURSE
Knowledgeable and trained laboratory technicians are
essential for industries to ensure the safety and quality of
their processes and products. In order to provide accurate
and efficient analysis, laboratory technicians should have a
solid understanding of chemistry fundamentals, laboratory
equipment and procedures as well as a basic grounding
with the same fundamental safety and operational training
taken by colleagues in other parts of the organization.
ATC’s Laboratory Technician Learning Plan is designed
to cover a wide range of lab tech and workplace
fundamental training requirements. This learning plan is
designed to improve knowledge and skills by providing
an understanding of industrial laboratory operations
and processes. The program also includes a package of
fundamental training courses designed to give employees
an awareness of key skill/knowledge areas in a typical
industrial environment.
Electrical Maintenance
Chemical Plant Operator
ONLINE COURSE
The success of any chemical plant operation is based on
three essentials – efficiency, productivity and safety. The
inherent dangers in chemical and process facilities, with
the manufacture, storage and transport of toxic, corrosive
and/or explosive elements, create environments with
“accidents waiting to happen”. To reduce risk and increase
productivity, companies must certify that chemical plant
operators have the required knowledge and skills to safely
carry out their duties and ensure that all equipment is in
safe working order.
The chemical plant operator curriculum is designed to
enhance operator knowledge and skills with an
understanding of basic theory, equipment operations,
systems operations, process plant safety considerations,
working conditions, foundational technical knowledge
and specific training on the complex equipment found in
today’s chemical plants.
ONLINE COURSE
Your production facilities, and those you serve in your
own customer base, depend on efficient and reliable
management of your electric power, distribution, control,
security, communications and heating/lighting systems. It
is critical to test and maintain your electrical equipment at
regular intervals to ensure safe, reliable operation.
A well trained electrical power maintenance staff, coupled
with the performance of regular industrial electrical power
maintenance tests, raises awareness of possible hidden
problems in your electrical systems before they grow to
become disasters.
Electrical maintenance training topics are designed
to prepare the student to become conscious of safety
considerations, understand the electrical implications of
machine and equipment assignments, work comfortably
with electrical schematics, maintain motors and control
systems, utilize appropriate test equipment, troubleshoot
rotating and static systems, train and supervise affiliates
and pursue continuous improvement.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Mechanical Maintenance
ONLINE COURSE
Maintaining the mechanical integrity and safe operation
of your plant is likely your most important daily concern.
With today’s ever increasing output demands, keeping
your workforce trained to the highest possible competency
levels and meeting mandates is a constant challenge.
Mechanical maintenance skill requirements have shifted
from simple maintenance - fixing what is broken - to
ensuring reliability with predictive and preventative
maintenance initiatives.
ATC’s mechanical maintenance training plan is designed
to improve the mechanical maintenance knowledge
and skills by providing an understanding of common
mechanical components, routine and preventative
maintenance procedures. Topics covered include
common tools, rigging procedures, measurements,
fasteners, tolerances, alignment, lubrication and vibration
management, while working proficiently with bearings,
drive components, pumps, compressors, valves, piping and
other mechanical systems
Instrumentations & Controls
ONLINE COURSE
Technological advancements in process monitoring,
control and industrial automation have contributed
greatly to improve the productivity of virtually all
manufacturing operations in every part of the world. The
interpretation of timely and accurate measurements is a
critical consideration in any processing plant, where all
decisions regarding plant operations are based on what
the measurements indicate. In the context of process
control, all controller decisions are similarly based on
measurement data.
ATC offers skills-based online interactive courseware
designed specifically to help companies better train
operations, instrumentation and control personnel, while
offering a significantly higher return on your training
investment.
Designed to improve knowledge and skills by providing
