Christian Marriage:
Our Parish Family delights in the witness of
Christian love given by our married couples. Those
who are contemplating marriage should contact
one of the priests one year in advance to begin
preparation for this sacrament.
Religious Vocations:
Christian Initiation:
We welcome all who would like to become members
of the Catholic Church. Please contact the Rectory
regarding the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA).
Parents may make arrangements for the Baptism of
their children by contacting one of the Priests or the
Deacon.
Any man who is discerning a call to the Ordained
Priesthood or the Diaconate, or any man or woman
who is contemplating the Vowed Religious Life
may consult with one of the priests or call the
Vocations Office at (973) 497-4365

Please notify the rectory when someone is ill and in
need of the Sacrament of the Sick.
All of the members of our Parish Family should be
registered. We welcome new parishioners and
request that everyone help to keep the Parish
Records updated by notifying the Rectory of any

and Pedjina Ozias-All fully initiated and received the
Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist at the
Easter Vigil 2014. May God continue blessing you abundantly.
Congratulations also to Jayden Daniel, Lisa Gelin and
Cansan-Loved Raymond who will receive Confirmation and
Holy Eucharist today during the 9:00a.m. Mass.
S.A.V.E. Women Program Mammography Screening
On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, the S.A.V.E. Program will be
offering free mammography screenings for uninsured women age
40 and older at the Parish Hall of Holy Spirit & Our Lady Help
of Christians Church: Located at 452A Main Street in East
Orange, NJ 07017 (Next door to E.O. Fire Department).
Applications are available to your parishioners who meet the
above requirements. They may contact Ms. Petra James at (973)
673-1077 between 9:00a.m-5:00p.m. at the rectory, Monday to
Friday to apply, drop off or request applications. The deadline to
respond is fast approaching on Friday, May 30th, 2014. No
applications will be accepted after that date.

Effective every Thursday during Food Pantry distribution, a
representative from Primary Care and our own Jean Davilus will be on
hand to sign up eligible persons for Medicaid. There will also be a brief
presentation on Colorectal screening. If you are interested in signing up,
please come to the rectory at 9:00a.m. Please have photo identification
and proof of income available. Food distribution is on a first come, first
serve basis.
