Zen – The path to silence and energy

Zen – The path to silence and energy
Zen Leadership Training with Zen master Hinnerk Polenski
Friday, February 14th, 2014, 3:30 PM to Sunday, 16th, 11:00 AM
Hundertwasser Hotel und Therme Rogner Bad Blumau, Austria
For the past 22 years, Zen monk and master Hinnerk Polenski has taught Zen philosophy and Daishin Zen to corporate leaders and
executives, a kind of Zen specifically developed for European leaders and the Western culture.
In the frenzy of a company atmosphere often characterized by severe competition, frequent restructuring and an ever increasing
information overflow, peace of mind and calm often fall by the wayside. In such circumstances our ability to focus on what is important is more and more challenged by a plethora of unessential things wasting our time, focus and energy. This training allows you to
discover how the practice Zen can help you to let go, derive power from your inner peace, and find greater clarity, more focus and to
discover mindfulness.
“Undistracted, dynamic action is the key to professional and personal
success, as well as a fulfilling daily life.”
Hinnerk Syobu Polenski
Today, we can discover how we can learn from the practice of Zen elementary things such as serenity, the ability to let go as well as
the ability to focus on what is important. It is the path through the chaotic, diverse challenges of the world to our very own, invincible
center, which allows us to forge ahead in an exemplary way.
The seminar is designed for professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs who are looking for their first contact with Zen or want to deepen
their previous experiences. The guiding idea for the training is using Zen to reduce stress and help manage our lifes. Stress leads to
an array of physical and mental changes that drastically reduce your efficiency, limit your freedom to act and may cause physical
damage if endured for a long time.
Contents of the seminar:
• An introduction to the world of Zen and leadership
• Finding relaxation and energy: Zen meditation in absolute silence and calm
• Parts of the meeting, incl. some meals will be in complete silence. Participants are strongly
encouraged to turn off their smart phone and reserve this time for own development
• Individualized, confidential coaching with the Zen Master
• Specially designed exercises to practice at home
In this intensive training, you will learn how to awaken and develop what you were always capable of doing, but have lost sight of
due to the hectic nature of daily life. The supreme maxim of Zen Leadership Training is the formation of your own personal way of
life-long training. The clear goal is to enable the participants to continue down the path of Zen alone, starting after they have left the
training.
Leadership is self-leadership.
Only if we are able to focus in our center and to link orientation, energy
and heart, we can be true leaders.
