Important Information for Applicants from People’s Republic of China
Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) at the German Embassy in Beijing or Shanghai
Before applying for the course programme at the University of Cologne, please submit
all your documents to Academic Evaluation Centre at the cultural department of
Germany embassy in Beijing or Shanghai
The Academic Evaluation Centre will verify your certificates and invite you to an
interview. After the verification you will be issued several certified documents to apply
for a German university and a visa at the German embassy in Beijing or Shanghai.
Your application at the University of Cologne can only be processed if you submit APS
Zertifikat in original. For applicants who have successfully finished German
Studienkolleg, there is no need of verification by the Academic Evaluation Centre.
